Aaron BrouwerJun 5, 2018

Well, here we are at the end of another NHL season.Ā

With just one week to go, the NHL playoff picture is still unclear.Ā  There are three spots available in the Eastern Conference. Over in the West, only two teams have clinched playoff spots.Ā  This final week will be very interesting, as the playoff matchups start to take shape.

Here is some great information for helping you to decide who to dress for the upcoming fantasy hockey week.

When it comes to dressing your players for the upcoming week—especially your goalies—it is important to know which teams are on long road trips and which teams are enjoying extended periods at home.

If you participate in any type of head-to-head hockey pool, you are likely dressing a lineup for each scoring period, which usually ends on Sunday.

As the week comes to an end, and you find yourself in a close battle for those wins, you want as many players as possible playing for you.

Here are the teams that play on Sunday (record for Sunday games up to Week 26):

Atlanta (5-5), Boston (3-2), Chicago (9-3), Colorado (1-2), Dallas (3-3), Detroit (5-2), Edmonton (3-8), Minnesota (3-6), New Jersey (6-2) and Pittsburgh (2-5)

When you are deciding which goalie to dress, you need to look at the NHL schedule to see if your goalie's team will play in a back-to-back game that week.

Most coaches will not dress the same goalie in back-to-back games, so that is something to consider when you are thinking about which goalie to dress.Ā

Here are the teams that play in back-to-back games this week (record of second game of back-to-back up to Week 26):

Anaheim (5-8), Atlanta (3-11), Boston (9-4), Buffalo (8-11), Carolina (6-12), Chicago (10-6), Colorado (3-10), Columbus (9-7), Dallas (4-6), Edmonton (3-7), Florida (4-10), Los Angeles (6-6), Minnesota (5-12), Nashville (5-6), New Jersey (6-11), NY Islanders (6-12), NY Rangers (11-5), Philadelphia (8-6), Phoenix (6-8), San Jose (7-6), St. Louis (10-5), Tampa Bay (7-8) and Toronto (6-8)

New Jersey and NY Rangers play in two sets of back-to-backs this week.

Knowing which team is on a hot streak or cold streak will help in making your lineup decisions.Ā
