As the world changes, technology is slowly taking over.
Every day we get more and more players from the NHL who sign up for Twitter.
Some players do it to get followers while others voice their opinions. These players are just people like you and I and they just want to connect with people.

In his short time on the site, he has already figured out that people want tidbits of your life and they want to see how you live.
Duchene comes off like a regular kid that made it big.

He uses Twitter to bring fans into his life, shows you how he feels about games and tells you what's going on with the Capitals.

Matt Moulson hasn’t done Twitter for long but he is already picking up on how it’s done.
Moulson can be funny or serious but he has really started to develop as a fun player to watch on the site.

He likes to talk about the previous games and how the locker room feels.
That’s what people want from a pro athlete.
Showing people inside the workings of a team makes a player seem more human to a fan.
