Visit for the most news on Big Ten football and be sure to pick the winners of the games each week.

“Enter Sandman” by Metallica blares in plenty of college football stadiums on Saturdays in the fall, but at night when they crawl into bed, Big Ten football fans fall asleep with the sounds of the The Chordettes 1957 hit “Mr. Sandman” calling to them with the dream headline they have for their team.

Just what is it Big Ten supporters have visions of when they are asleep? Here are the sweet dreams for fans of each school.

Illinois football fans have a dream: Illini fires Ron Zook. Leaves more talent behind than when Florida fired him.

With a large number of players signed by Zook, The Gators won the 2006 national title. Zook was fired in 2004.

Indiana Football does not sleep well when traveling: Hoosiers win road game.

The last time Indiana won a football game on the road was September 29, 2007. Iowa was the victim as the Hoosiers went home with a 38-20 win.

Iowa football fans smile at night: Hawkeyes complete home sweep with win over Ohio State.

Wisconsin, Michigan State and Ohio State all have to visit Iowa before the season is up.

Michigan football dreams of a day: Wolverine fans rejoice as Rich Rodriguez accepts Michigan State job.

There is an old idea that if you can’t get rid of somebody, then get them a promotion somewhere else.

Michigan State football fans toss and turn: Wolverine fans rejoice as Rich Rodriguez accepts Michigan State job.

One man’s dream is another man’s nightmare.

Minnesota football dreams big: Gopher fans celebrate Nick Saban’s arrival as new head coach.

The Minnesota administration has promised to make a great hire…here you go.

Northwestern football fans sleep with TV on: Wildcats to play for BCS title. Game to be nationally televised.

Northwestern football is pretty good these days, but you would never know it based on the media coverage.

Ohio State football fans go to sleep with this dream: Terrelle Pryor reaches potential at QB for Buckeyes.

Wait, we have seen that before. Then he is not. Then he is. Maybe the better headline would be “Terrelle Pryor consistently plays to potential.”

Penn State football fans fall asleep watching their games: Joe Pa steps down as coach of Nittany Lions.

Joe Paterno is a good man, has enjoyed a splendid career and needs to go.

Purdue fans dream of hoops: Hummel injury not as bad as thought. Basketball star set to return.

At least they have a real shot to be great in basketball.

Wisconsin football fans dream of what might have been: Badgers take down Spartans.

It was just a few weeks ago when Wisconsin lost to Michigan State 34-24. This one game might be all that stands between the Badgers and the BCS title game.

Sweet dreams.
