The New Jersey Devils season is set to begin in just over a month as they open the season Friday, October the eighth at home against the Dallas Stars.

This season will bring a lot of things, among which are some milestones by the team, the coaches and the players.

Here is a list of milestones that members of the New Jersey Devils organization could hit this season.

- 5 conference championship (currently four)

- 10th division championship (currently nine)

 

Coaching milestones:

John MacLean

- 1st career NHL game (currently zero)

- 1st career NHL win (currently zero)

- 1st career NHL loss (currently zero)

- 1st career Stanley Cup (currently zero)

 

Player milestones:

Jason Arnott

- 1100th career game (currently 1,099)

- 400 career goals (currently 383)

- 500 career assists (currently 490)

- 900 career points (currently 873)

 

David Clarkson

- 100 career points (currently 82)

- 500 career penalty minutes (currently 438)

Patrik Elias

- 900 career games (currently 880)

- 800 career points (currently 754)

 

Jamie Langenbrunner

- 1000 career games (currently 965)

- 400 career assists (currently 378)

- 800 penalty minutes (currently 760)

 

Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond

- 100 career penalty minutes (currently 70)

 

Zach Parise

- 200 career goals (currently 160)

- 200 career assists (currently 175)
