Canes Take Game 4 in Vegas 🌀

NHL News & Notes: Tuesday, July 6th

Todd CordellJul 6, 2010

The St. Louis Blues announced that they have re-signed goaltender Jaroslav Halak to a four year contract extension worth $15 million, which will pay Halak an average of $3.75 million per season. I personally think this is a job well done by the Blues, they didn't mess around. They wanted to get Halak locked up long term and did it. I expect Halak will put up fantastic numbers for St. Louis and will give them a very good shot at making the playoffs this season.

The St. Louis Blues also announced that the re-signed tough guy Cam Janssen to a one year deal worth $600,000.

According to the NY Post defenseman Ryan McDonagh has signed with the Rangers.

Finally as you all know Ilya Kovalchuk will sign with the Devils or the KHL today, like I said earlier all signs point toward the Devils.
