BOSTON - APRIL 26: Tyler Ennis #63 of the Buffalo Sabres jumps over the stick of David Krejci #46 of the Boston Bruins and still hangs on to the puck in Game Six of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals during the 2010 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at TD Garden on April 26, 2010 in Boston, Massachusetts. Since the Sab's are obviously not going to go after any decent free agents heres whats left to work with...

Heres some lines I would try for 2010-2011

Wanted to hear what you guys thought?

Grier   -    Kennedy (c)   -    Kaleta

Ennis   -    Roy (c)     -     Pominville

Vanek    -    Connolly (C*)   -    Mancari

Ellis     -     Gaustad (c)    -     Kassian

Leaves Stafford and McCormick in the cold

Myers(A)   -    Butler

Montador   -    Weber

Sekera/Pysyk     -    Leopold

Out - Rivet

Miller / Enroth

Offensive Notes - I know Kennedy plays wing but lets try this, Also Stafford is very talented I just dont think he fits with any of the players on this team. Mancari is the likely debate but I was impressed with his work with Vanek and seemed to be the best fuel for Vanek that I seen all year. Ellis is just a best of the worst case scenario and I want Kassian as some aggressive depth. I sure everyone would agree the Sabres need some grit.

D- Notes

Can Butler play the game he once played? Would Montador and Weber be tough to play against? Can Leopold play enough d to cover Sekeras or Pysyks butt?

So how much frustration did reading this build up? Any comments -

P.S. I did not like watching other teams suck up great players on free-agency day while the Sabs sat on their hands whistling Dixie... But did anyone expect anything different?
