On Thursday, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced guard JR Smith was suspended for one game because of an incident that occurred after shootaround.

Brian Windhorst and Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reported Friday that Smith earned his one-game ban for throwing a bowl of soup at assistant coach Damon Jones.
