Klay Thompson Deletes Tweet Hinting Steph Curry Picked Him for All-Star Squad
Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson should remember the old adage that teaches us the internet never forgets.
Last Thursday, Golden State's Stephen Curry was named captain of the Western Conference All-Star squad. 2017 NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant joined Curry as one of the five starters chosen from the West, while Draymond Green and Thompson were named reserves.
Thompson, intentionally or not, teased that his teammate picked him from the pool of names when he tweeted the following early Wednesday evening: "Glad I didn't have to request that trade @StephenCurry30. Happy to be an All Star again!"

He quickly deleted the tweet.
The 27-year-old joked about asking for a trade when speaking to reporters after Tuesday's 123-112 win over the New York Knicks at Oracle Arena:
