Angels' Mike Trout Recruits LeBron James to Join Philadelphia 76ers

As Justin Klugh of Philly.com once explained, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim outfielder Mike Trout grew up a product of Millville, New Jersey, and a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.

It appears the 25-year-old also has a soft spot in his heart for the Philadelphia 76ers.

On Thursday, Philadelphia sports radio 94WIP tweeted the following regarding reporter Howard Eskin's thoughts on Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James potentially linking up with the 76ers:

Trout, apparently not convinced, did his part to recruit James to the Sixers.

"#TrustTheProcess," Trout responded, along with "#lebron" and "#philly."

Perhaps Trout and James could both call the City of Brotherly Love home at some point before the end of the current decade.
