Usain Bolt Taken Out by Segway After Winning 200M Title at World Championships
The fastest man in the world was brought crashing back down to earth by a rogue Segway at the World Championships in Beijing.
Usain Bolt was celebrating his 200-meter win when the guilty Segway lost control and crashed into the back of him, sending both parties flying.
Fortunately, the undisputed speed king appeared to be unharmed, getting back to his feet briskly with what looks like something between a grin and a grimace.
“Oh, took me out like! Bro!” Bolt joked after seeing the incident with Universal Sports afterward, per For The Win.
"The rumor I’m trying to start right now is that Justin Gatlin paid him off,” Bolt added at a press conference later in the day, per NBC.
“I want my money back,” Gatlin responded.
As for the driver...how bad must that guy be feeling right now?
Update: Everyone's friends again now. Literally. The cameraman who tripped over Bolt saw the champion again when he came out for the 200m medal ceremony, and offered him a friendship bracelet.

Sorted!
