Will Brady "Medicine Woman" Quinn Stem Dark Clouds Hovering Over Berea

"I'm just glad it'll be Clark Gable who's falling on his face and not Gary Cooper."
- Gary Cooper on his decision not to take the leading role in "Gone With The Wind."

Famous last words, sometimes they haunt us, other times we often ask the wrong questions:

"Why did kamikaze pilots wear helmets?"

For Browns fans, the answer maybe be unpalatable ! Is Brady Quinn the long sought after franchise QB the Browns have been searching for in order to get them to the Promised Land?

Is it wrong for some fans not to want to find out? If Quinn bombs it would set this franchise back five years, as they search for their saviour. If Derek Anderson bombs or bombs again as some fans might take it, Quinn would be the immediate saviour.

Is hating Quinn a direct result of hating Notre Dame? Probably, probably not. Is it even a hatred for a Quinn, the metrosexual, the pretty boy, prima donna? Well, just ask Brian Urlacher or Shaun Smith.....Has he earned his starting spot, it would seem not.

Phil Savage's failure to hit on mid round draft choices has a direct effect on the Browns squad, devoiding it of quality youth that the coaches could mould into their systems.

The cost to attain the rights to Brady Quinn was a #22 and #36, and for a young team lacking in depth would seem a huge mistake, costing both the coach and GM's jobs.

So now new coach Mangini scrambles to fill depth on the roster with his former players who were either backups or on the downside of average careers.

Will Mangini sell his team on a QB with potential or a QB who has won?

Be careful what you wish for; you make the bed you lie in ! Dr Quinn "Medicine Woman" might give a bitter pill that you won't be able to swallow".....
