Mario Mandzukic Scores Atletico Madrid's First-Ever Champions League Hat-Trick
Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi both scored hat-tricks on the penultimate matchday of the Champions League group stage, and now Mario Mandzukic has joined in on the fun.
The Croatian striker opened his account for Atletico Madrid against Olympiakos in the 38th minute, capitalising on a botched clearance from centre-back Alberto Botia.
He then added his second in the 62nd minute with a glancing header from an Arda Turan through ball.

Mandzukic guaranteed he would be taking the match ball home three minutes later when he headed in a Gabi free-kick.
The 28-year-old now has the honour of scoring Atleti's first and only Champions League hat-trick. Diego Costa and Aguero never managed the feat while they were at the club.
