Michael Jordan Says Barack Obama Is 'S----Y' at Golf

Dan CarsonOct 30, 2014

Michael Jordan gave his last care sometime in the mid-1980s and has delivered nothing but piping-hot, megalomaniacal sports takes ever since.

The Charlotte Hornets owner corked off his latest truth torpedo during a recent sit-down with Ahmad Rashad, saying in so many words that President Barack Obama is a slow, terrible golfer.

President Barack Obama addressed Jordan's remarks on a Wisconsin radio show Monday, according to Eye On Golf's Kyle Porter.

In so many words, the president told the hosts that Jordan is a more superior golfer than him but would be better served minding his own business:

"

Michael wasn't very well informed about this. I think he might've just been trying to give Ahmad a ratings boost...but there is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course, if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case. He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats—or the Hornets.

"

Shhh...just let it Usher, Jordan. It's gonna be OK.

SB Nation’s Michael Katz spotted video of the chat. Rashad prompted Jordan with the old “Who would be in your ideal foursome?” question.

Naturally, His Airness immediately dismissed Rashad from the equation, as pandering is not in his genetic structure. Next he picked Arnold Palmer and Barack Obama but quickly backtracked on the latter.

“I’ve never played with Obama, but I would,” Jordan said. “But naw, that’s OK. I take him out. He’s a hack. Man, it would be all day playing with him.”

“Do you really want to say that to the president of the United States? That he’s a hack?” Rashad asked.

“Yeah, don’t worry about it. I never said he wasn’t a great politician, I’m just saying he’s a s----y golfer,” Jordan said.

Jordan presumably went on to round out his dream foursome with Rory McIlroy, a clone of himself and a hologram of Teddy Roosevelt as an alternate.

This is Jordan’s world, after all—a place where having the launch codes doesn’t make up for a bad slice.
