Drake Wears Skylar Diggins Shirt, Proving the Thirst Is Very Real

In Drake’s mind, life is a desert and WNBA star Skylar Diggins is the river that gives life.

The hip hop artist has been fiending for Diggins’ attention for some time, reaching out to her as any other celebrity of his stature would: Instagram posts.

Drake uploaded his latest Diggins-centric image on Tuesday night. The picture shows the rapper in a yellow, No. 4 Tulsa Shock shirt, sipping thirstily from not one, but two red cups.

Of course, there’s no mention of Diggins in Drake’s caption.

“Feeling truly blessed today. Been down and I’m grateful to be on my feet in this wonderful weather with wonderful people,” Drake wrote.

That’s how Drake throws game: one filtered pic at a time.

This isn’t the first time he’s posted about Diggins on social media, though. The rapper has been uploading pictures of the former Notre Dame star to his Instagram for the better part of a year.

The only thing standing between Drake and Diggins (besides Drake’s tendency to throw game over the Internet) is her longtime boyfriend, Daniel Smith.

Smith has seen Drake’s posts, and he’s not impressed. This May, Smith posted his own picture of Diggins on Instagram, tagging Drake in the caption.

Clearly, Drake doesn’t give a wet hell whether Smith is dating Diggins or not. He’s out here wasting away in the Sahara of bachelorhood, hallucinating from Diggins-related dehydration.

Maybe pump the brakes, Drizzy. If there’s one thing people don’t like, it’s someone who shows their cards too early. Let her come to you.

If that doesn’t work, it’s not the end of the world. You’re not a shipwrecked sailor or Aron Ralston. This brand of thirst isn't fatal.
