After last week’s wild episode of Impact Wrestling, TNA will have to follow it up with another exciting edition of the company’s flagship show to keep wrestling fans intrigued.
The official build for the October Bound For Glory pay-per-view has already kicked into full gear with the BFG Series, and that will continue Thursday on Impact.
While those matches are always exciting, there are bigger storylines to watch this week.
With so much potential action expected on Thursday’s edition of Impact Wrestling, TNA fans across the world won’t want to miss a second of the anticipated drama.

Sting’s Main Event Mafia is Growing
After reviving one of the worst stables in TNA history, Sting’s desire to keep the Main Event Mafia afloat will continue Thursday as he adds yet another member to his group. After watching a bona fide legend like Kurt Angle join last week, the expectations surrounding who will join next are through the roof.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Who Will Join Main Event Mafia Next?
While there are few wrestlers on the Impact Wrestling roster the magnitude of Kurt Angle, there is more than enough talent to fill Sting’s stable. Almost every major star is tied up in a storyline, though, and this reveal will likely be a wrestler not doing anything right now. Look for faces like Samoa Joe, Magnus or Joseph Park to be announced as the newest member.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Non-Main Event Members
As much as those other options would work and likely could happen before the final reveal, the last member of Sting’s Main Event Mafia must be Matt Morgan. After not tapping out to Sting during their No. 1 contender’s match, the face turn for Morgan will be completed when he is asked to join his former nemesis in order to stop Aces and Eights. Not only must Morgan join the stable, he must become Sting’s right-hand man and the main enforcer of the group. That’s called building a star.

X-Division Championship Match
The most exciting division in TNA today is the X-Division, and Thursday’s episode will feature a three-way battle for the championship. With defending champion Chris Sabin forced to put his title on the line against Kenny King and Suicide just weeks before the Destination X edition of Impact, this would be the perfect chance for the company to pull a swerve.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Which Star Deserves a World Title Shot?
This match will decide which of these superstars deserves the chance to cash in the championship belt for a bout against Bully Ray with the title on the line. While Suicide is a very popular character and Kenny King is one of the brightest stars in TNA, this has all the earmarks of being a final chance to setup Sabin as the top guy in the X-Division.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Cold-Feet Swerves
As much potential as Sabin has as a superstar on Impact, there are few fans that believe he will be able to beat Bully Ray for the company’s primary championship. TNA is world renowned for throwing in swerves, so if Sabin retains Thursday, don’t be surprised to see the former tag team star decline the chance to cash in the belt and continue to defend the X-Division title.
