After another solid episode of Impact Wrestling, this week’s edition of TNA’s weekly program will be jam-packed with action as the Bound for Glory Series officially begins and Sting starts his reformation of the Main Event Mafia stable.

With so much wrestling scheduled for the broadcast and so many storylines kicking into high gear heading toward the biggest show of the year, Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling has been set up as one of the best in 2013.

For the sake of the Bound for Glory Series, this Impact better be great.

Where: Peoria Civic Center, Peoria, Ill.

When: Thursday, June 20 at 9 p.m. ET

Watch: Spike TV

Bound for Glory Begins

In one of the most unique tournaments in pro wrestling history, TNA’s Bound for Glory Series makes its formal return to Impact Wrestling as the 12 participants are all scheduled for action this Thursday. Add in the fact that it is Open Fight Night, and some of the matchups in the tournament will be flat-out amazing.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Will the BFG Series Yield Great Matches?

One of the reasons this series has been so interesting in the past is because of the unique matches that it can spawn. With former friends, tag team partners and allies all vying for the same prize, there will be one-off matches and dream bouts that adorn the BFG Series throughout and will give the wrestling fans all across the world what they want; great wrestling.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Home-Made Stars

The Bound for Glory Series is great for many reasons, but the biggest reason of them all is that it can build a younger talent or a wrestler not viewed as a main-event star and give them all the credibility they need by giving them the BFG Series win. If TNA wants to build its company the right way, a guy like AJ Styles should win it all in 2013.

TNA Rumors: According to TNA Wrestling News, Jeff Hardy is Working Through a Back Injury.

The New Main Event Mafia

As announced on last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Sting was tired of the Aces & Eights jumping him all the time and no one having his back. Instead of continuing to take on the gang by himself, the wrestling legend did the only thing he could in a situation like this; he resurrected a stable.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Who Will Join Sting's Family?

There are plenty of guys in the company that would love to join Sting in the Main Event Mafia, but with the Bound for Glory Series occupying the time of many top stars in TNA, The Icon will have to get creative with his selections. Look for guys like Kurt Angle and possibly even Rampage Jackson to join the new faction.

Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Familiar Roads

The Main Event Mafia may not be the greatest idea for Sting, but with the legend no longer able to challenge for the title and company officials trying to appease him while he is still under contract, giving him a stable is a smart move. With the possibility that this is Sting’s last run with TNA, the fans should enjoy the show no matter who Sting selects Thursday.
