Jamie McMurray and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished first and second during the Sprint Showdown, and Danica was voted into the All-Star race by the fans.
Kurt Busch would win the first and fourth segments, with his brother Kyle winning the second and third segments. Both Busch brothers looked prime to take the win during the final segment, but couldn't get off of pit road faster than Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne.

Johnson successfully defended his All-Star win from last year, and has now won four All-Star races.
