Atlanta Hawks Cheerleader Taken off Court in Stretcher After Nasty Faceplant
And down goes Frazier. Er...Kristen.
An Atlanta Hawks cheerleader pulled a nasty turn-kick to 180-face-grind during a Monday night game against the Dallas Mavericks in Philips Arena.
The cheerleaders had taken the floor between the third and fourth quarter to perform a routine when the young ladyโdescribed only as โKristenโโfell and smacked her head on the hardwood.ย

The game experienced a short delay, and Kristen, a full-timeย pre-kindergarten teacherย and second-year dancer,ย was eventually removed from the floor via stretcher and transported to Atlanta Medical Center. According to team officials, Kristen was released from the hospital Monday night following an examination.
โOur best wishes are with the cheerleader who had the incident on the court,โ said Hawks head coach Larry Drew at the beginning of his postgame press conference.ย
Judging by Kristenโs Twitter account, the young lady is doing fine and the incident wasnโt as scary as it appeared at the time:
""After a scary trip to the Hospital, I'm back at home and resting up so I can get back to cheering for my Hawks, love you guys and God Bless!
