Golfers to Watch
Bubba Watson
Last year's Masters Champion has not participated in a tournament since the week of Jan. 7, but Bubba Watson is ready to get back onto the links this week.
Although TPC Scottsdale does not have the longest course around, Watson can still use his driving ability as an advantage over the field.
However, the course is known for having an exciting crowd, something that he could use to his advantage.
Brandt Snedeker
An impressive second-place finish at the Farmers Insurance Open should fuel Brandt Snedeker to another big week at TPC Scottsdale.
He has been incredibly efficient in his first three tournaments of the year, reaching the green in regulation in almost 80 percent of his holes. This has helped him get two top-three finishes already.
Snedeker is continuing his great play from the end of 2012 and he is now looking like the hottest player on tour. If he can break through with a win, it could set him up for a very good season.
Although he has not had a great start to 2013, you can never count out Phil Mickelson.
Lefty is the type of player that gets better as the season continues and his experience will carry him through this difficult field.
Mickelson has seen himself slip down the world rankings in recent years. Last season, he only had one tournament win and one Top 10 in a major.
However, he is not ready to back out of the spotlight just yet. Expect him to come back with a strong year starting in Arizona.

Predicted Winner: Brandt Snedeker
He is not only the highest-ranked player in the field, but he is playing better as well or better than almost anyone in the world.
Snedeker came up big at the end of the year last year and ended up with a huge payday as the FedEx Cup Champion. This has continued into 2013 as he tries to get his first victory of the year.
