This is just one week after Backlash, which you can view here. What's going to happen with corrupted Vince McMahon running the show in Week 2 of his four-week plan? Only one way to find out: Let's get to Raw!
Promo: Raw Is Live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
1 of 12Vince McMahon comes out to start the show, receiving some heat from the crowd. Vinnie quickly gets in the ring and grabs a microphone.
Vince: Last Monday, CEO Triple H told me that I had four weeks to prove myself worthy of being Raw General manager. I have to prove to him and all of you, that I am all about excitement, and the....WWE Universe. So tonight will be a big night, ending with a great main event that will put Sheamus up against Rey Mysterio. Not to mention, the World Champion Seth Rollins will be in action here tonight!
Suddenly Wade Barrett's music hits and comes down to the ring.
Wade: Let me get this straight. For the past two weeks, I have destroyed Rey Mysterio, yet he is in the main event, while I'm not even in a match? You think this is fair and just? You think this will help you keep your job?
Vince: You want a match, you got it. Tonight, you will be going one on one against Ted DiBiase.
Wade cracks a smile.
Wade: Now that is a great decision. As the face of Monday Night Raw, I deserve to be main eventing every night, but I understand you already had a match scheduled. Don't get me wrong, I expect better treatment next week or I will personally voice my complaints to your boss, Triple H.
McMahon immediately panics and struggles to speak.
Vince: Wait....please! I promise that next week, you will be in the main event. I can obviously see that you are the face of this industry, as well as the future.
Barrett begins to shake hands with McMahon, but is interrupted by Seth Rollins!
Seth: As World Champion here on Raw, I want to bring change. You see Wade, each and every week, guys like get in that ring and bully your way into getting the things you want. However, that just isn't going to cut it anymore.
Wade: You honestly think you can stop me? Do you know who I am?
Seth: Yes I know who you are. You are an arrogant, annoying, pompous a**.
Vince: Calm down, calm down. This actually gives me an idea. Here in the WWE, instead of talking, we settle things with our fists. So Wade, you won't be facing Ted DiBiase tonight. Instead you will be going up against the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins!
Match 1: Alex Riley vs. R-Truth
2 of 12Alex is out first and he gets a solid reaction from the fans. R-Truth comes out next, also receiving a nice pop from the crowd. The two are just about ready to fight, but are interrupted by Shelton Benjamin.
Shelton: Listen A-Ry, you have been successful over the past few weeks, but I'm still not too impressed. I don't like you and I sure as hell don't respect you. If you really want me to give you respect, then stop fighting worthless punks like Truth and step in the ring with a real wrestler.
Truth laughs sarcastically before turning his attention back to Riley. The ref calls for the bell and the match begins. Alex quickly goes on the assault, hitting a spear followed up with repeated blows. Truth escapes and gets to his feet, but is sent out the ring by a dropkick from Alex. Riley then heads to the outside and continues his attack. Truth gets up near the announce table, but is thrown right over the top of it, nearly hitting JR in the process. Shelton and Riley have a momentary stare down, before Riley turns his attention towards Truth. However, R-Truth uses the distraction as an advantage, connecting with a leaping calf kick on Riley. Truth then lifts Riley up and tosses him back into the ring. Alex uses the ropes to get up, but is quickly hit with Truth Conviction. The rapping superstar goes for the pin. 1...2...Kick Out!
Shelton stares in anticipation as the match continues. Truth goes for Truth or Consequences, but Riley slips out. Alex then connects with a back suplex, causing Truth's neck to smack hard into the canvas. Riley then grabs Truth and locks in a knee lock (A.K.A. Brock Lock). Truth is hopeless as he hangs upside down in pain. However, R-Truth grabs Riley's leg and turns the tables. Alex smacks face first into the mat as Truth locks in the ankle lock. Truth is ruthless as Riley screams in pain. It seems as though he is seconds away from tapping, but grabs the ropes just in time. Truth can't believe it, but goes back to work.
Truth goes for Truth Axe, but Riley catches him and nails an electric chair drop. Alex then goes for the cover. 1...2...Kick Out!
Riley can't believe it isn't over yet, but has no choice other than to continue. He lifts Truth up and hits a Michinoku Driver. Truth seems just about finished as he struggles to stand. However, he is able to dodge a clothesline and hit "Little Jimmy" out of nowhere! He goes for the pin. 1...2...Kick Out!
Benjamin is completely shocked on the outside, showing obvious frustration. Truth shows the same expression as he gets back up. R-Truth then goes for a reverse STO, but Alex elbows his way out of it. Riley then follows it up with a huge spine buster. He makes the cover. 1...2...Kick Out!

Riley is beginning to show frustration as he angrily pounds the canvas with his fists. He then gets to his feet and waits for Truth to stand. When Truth gets to his feet, Riley connects with a lifting DDT, sending Truth's face into the mat. Riley then gets up as the crowd goes wild, anticipating that it is time for his finisher. Alex doesn't let them down, lifting Truth up and connecting with "You're Dismissed"! He makes the cover. 1...2...3!!!!
HERE IS YOUR WINNER....ALEX RILEY!!!!! (Time of Match: 9:46)
Shelton seems pretty impressed, but his expression changes as Alex looks towards him. Riley then helps Truth to his feet and they shake hands. Alex grabs a mic and turns back to Shelton.
Alex: Over the past few weeks, I've earned the respect of guys like John Morrison and RVD, but you still claim I haven't done enough. I'm winning over the entire locker room, except for you. So tell me, what is it I have to do?
Shelton grabs a mic and looks ready to speak, but instead drops it and heads up the entrance ramp. Meanwhile, Riley looks on in frustration.
Promo: RVD + Vince McMahon Backstage
3 of 12Backstage Vince is approached by Rob Van Dam.
Rob: Listen, I understand that over the past couple of months I have been struggling. However, I promise things will improve. I'm a former WWE and ECW Champion. I know that I have the ability to wrestle like that again, as long as I'm given an opportunity.
Vince: Opportunity? You have had more than enough opportunities to impress, but each time you have failed. I will give you one more shot to prove you still have what it takes to be here. Next week, you will be in a match against an opponent of my choice. If you win, you can get a shot at the European Title. But if you lose, you will be relegated to NXT! Am I clear?
RVD seems a bit disappointed at the possibility of being sent to NXT, but nonetheless answers with optimism.
Rob: Trust me Vince, I won't let you down. I'll win next week and then I'll take the European Title from Mason Ryan. It doesn't matter who you put in my way because I will take them out. Once again, thanks for the opportunity.
Vince: Whatever. Just shut up and go away. I have much more important things to tend to.
RVD nods emphatically before quickly leaving Vince's sight.

The distraction is long enough for Regal to recover and go for a schoolboy rollup. 1...2...Kick Out!
Gabriel is able to get to his feet first and connect with a shoot kick to Will's chat. Regal pulls himself up in frustration, as his lack of offense is upsetting. However, he is able to gain some momentum as he reverses Justin's clothesline attempt into a hangman's flapjack. Gabriel is able to get up quickly, but is sent right back down as Will connects with a massive belly to back powerbomb! He goes for the pin. 1...2...Kick Out!
Regal can't believe that the powerbomb didn't finish him off. He lifts Gabriel back up and is able to connect with a release German Suplex. Will then tries to end it as he goes for a side slam. He connects with it and goes for a pin attempt. 1...2...Kick Out!
Looking to end it, Mason tosses him a pair of brass knuckles. Ryan then distracts the referee as Will goes for power of the punch. However, Gabriel hits a savage kick and grabs the brass knuckles from Regal. Justin then connects with a huge shot to Will's cheek. He tosses the weapon out of the ring and goes to the top rope. Regal lies unconscious as Gabriel connects with a 450 Splash! He makes the cover. 1...2...3!!!!
HERE IS YOUR WINNER....JUSTIN GABRIEL!
Justin doesn't have time to celebrate as Mason slides into the ring and pummels him with punches. Ryan then connects with a massive boot to Gabriel's face. Justin is helpless as Ryan finishes him off with a powerbomb. Mason helps Regal to his feet and the two walk back to the locker room in amusement.
Promo: Randy Orton in GM Vince McMahon's Office
5 of 12Randy barges into Vince's office angrily, but doesn't even get a chance to speak before McMahon reprimands him.
Vince: Don't say a word! You may think I only have two weeks left behind this desk, but as of now, I'm still your boss. I don't care if you are Randy Orton or today's Barry Horowitz, nobody disrespects me! If you think you can barge in here and get your way, you are sadly mistaken. Since I have already given Kassius Ohno the night off, you will have some work to do. Tonight, I will be putting you in a handicap match against Mark Henry and Abraham Washington.
Randy: Bu---
Vince: End of story! I told you on multiple occasions that your disrespect will not be tolerated. However, you continued to run your mouth, so now you have to face the severe consequences for your actions.
Randy's face is beat red as he fires back at Vince.
Randy: The reason I disrespect you is the fact that there is nothing about you to respect. You're annoying, arrogant, and bad at your job. And in two weeks, when you lose your job, I will be the first to formerly say my goodbyes!
Vince: You better hope I lose my job because if I don't, you can consider your career in the WWE just about over!
Randy leaves the room in anger, slamming the door hard behind him. McMahon goes right back to his work as if nothing ever happened.

The Colons' music hits and they come out to boos.
Epico: Excuse me? Did you call us thugs? The last time I checked, thugs don't carry gold around their waists!
Primo: The only reason you people dislike us is because you can't stand the fact that we are the best. Do you really think we care what you morons think? We aren't here to find friends. We are here to win titles and so far we are doing a damn good job of it.
Tyson: Not for long. In tw---
Primo: You already said what you think will happen in two weeks. It is time we talk about what is going to happen right now. Epico and I are going to go down there and give you the beat down of your lives.

HERE IS YOUR WINNER....MARK HENRY AND ABE WASHINGTON!!!
Mark and Abe don't stop to celebrate as Washington climbs out of the ring and grabs a mic.
Abe: When we say we are the most dominant tag team in WWE, we mean it. There are no ifs, ands, or buts. We proved it yet again as we defeated a multi-time world champion. Yet for some reason, The Hart Dynasty and Colons are fighting for the Tag Titles while we watch from the locker room. The good news is, if Vince McMahon manages to keep his job here on Raw, he has promised us our rightful shot at the Tag Team Championships. And after we win, you people will have no choice but to acknowledge us as the best team in the WWE!
Promo: Sheamus Interview Backstage
9 of 12Backstage, Todd Grisham is with Sheamus.
Todd: Sheamus, just a few short weeks ago, you laid your hands on the Viper. Why, out of all people, did you choose Randy Orton?
Sheamus: This wasn't about making a statement. This was personal to me. Randy cost me my childhood dream of winning the World title. His RKO is what sent my career into a downward spiral away from the main event scene. I attacked him out of pure rage and vengeance.
Todd: Well, can you blame him for that RKO? I'm pretty positive you would have done the same exact thing.
Sheamus' expression turns angry as he grabs Todd by the collar.
Sheamus: Excuse me? Of course I can blame him. Instead of waiting for me to prepare myself, he took advantage of Wade's distraction and left me unconscious! You actually believe I would do something like that, you imbecile?
Todd: Listen, just calm down! I completely understand what you mean. I'm completely out of line.
Sheamus: Ya got that right fella. Now leave my sight before I add you alongside Randy Orton on my list of victims!
