Eli Manning SNL: Giants QB Pays Homage to Tim Tebow by Tebowing on TV
Eli Manning may have entered an elite quarterback class last year when he won his second Super Bowl, but he still had plenty to prove.
Tonight, he took another step toward proving himself as a complete human being, and not just a robot that throws the ball with precision.
And yes, I am talking about Eli Manning appearing on Saturday Night Live. And yes, I am talking about Eli Manning Tebowing on Saturday Night Live.

Cardinals May Be Bluffing Pick
Not only has the New York Giants quarterback been very solid on the historical show, but he's been very un-robot-like, which is how he usually carries himself on the football field.
But it wasn't Eli's interaction with musical superstar Rihanna that is noteworthy. It wasn't his scenes with Andy Samberg or Kenan Thompson (Kenan Thompson? I know I would have been nervous, even if I was a Super Bowl-winning quarterback).
It was Eli's decision—whether it was his or not—to Tebow on national television that will have everyone talking about him and falling in love with him.
When in doubt about whether or not you're going to actually be funny on a show that is built to be funny, just Tebow.
Seriously, it works everytime.
Manning could have stunk up the entire state of New York tonight, but Tebowing will always save the day. There's just something about it. Whether it's the move itself that has some mystical power or whether just incorporating yourself with the legend that is Tim Tebow is beneficial, Tebowing works.
And Eli Manning Tebowed. So his night has to be seen as a success.
Tebowing is just another step for Eli towards unseating Peyton as everyone's favorite Manning.
As the guys from Guinness would say, "Brilliant!"
