John Morrison solidifies the modern-day wrestler.
Not only did he find success in the ring, but since his WWE departure, he has managed to find some outside of the ring as well.
It appears he is attempting to join the ranks of people like Chris Jericho, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, DDP and Trish Stratus, who have found new life outside of wrestling.
In case you have been living under a rock, Morrison has been away from the WWE for close to six months. Since his departure, he won his first post-WWE singles title, appeared in a Weird Al video for FunnyOrDie.com, and most recently, he has been doing promo work with an improv comedy group to help with his mic skills.
Now, according to Morrison's Twitter, he is starting a new venture.
The tweet states:
This is a pretty good move for Morrison, as it allows him to not only get back in the ring when he is ready, but ensures that he has something to fall back on when he can no longer wrestle. Personally, I hope this trend continues for current and future wrestlers.
The business and the fans have seen way to many of its past stars fall on hard times or die too soon.
