The month of March brought us some great hockey and some incredible plays. Many of those were made in the crease, robbing goals and lifting fans out of their seats.

Whether it was a ridiculous kick save from Kari Lehtonen, or an all too quick glove from Al Montoya, these saves showed why hockey is still and always will be the greatest sport on Earth.

Here are the top 10 goalie saves in the past 30 days.

10. Marc-Andre Fleury, Pittsburgh Penguins

Marc-Andre Fleury has made some sprawling saves this month, but this was definitely his best.

If David Krejci hit the back of the net with this one, the game would have been even closer with just five minutes left.

But Fleury's twists and turns bailed the Penguins out.

9. Marty Turco, Boston Bruins

Marty Turco is probably very happy to be back in the NHL.

You know who isn't happy?

Jordan Staal.

8. Ryan Miller, Buffalo Sabres

Ryan Miller is the big reason Buffalo is surging and right in the mix for a playoff spot.

He gives Ottawa a little taste of what they could see here with this graceful save on Senators forward Kaspars Daugavins.

7. Semyon Varlamov, Colorado Avalanche

Semyon Varlamov has been pretty solid in net this year for the young Colorado Avalanche and here he baffles veteran Dany Heatley with a kick save.

I'm pretty sure Varlamov was just as surprised as we were.

6. Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers

"Knock knock."

"Who's there."

Drew Stafford was, but Henrik Lundqvist turned him away with this incredible pad save at his front door.

Overall, it was a pretty bad contest for Henrik, but this save made a commentator apologize to him.

That's something.

5. James Reimer, Toronto Maple Leafs

March was a pretty bad month to cap off another disappointing season for the Toronto Maple Leafs. A big problem for the Leafs was goaltending, but this save wouldn't show it.

James Reimer was brilliant on this play and Toronto fans should only hope Reimer has many more of these to come.

4. Mike Smith, Phoenix Coyotes

This matchup saw some pretty great saves between Mike Smith and Kari Lehtonen and this was certainly Smith's best.

With little to no time to react, this save shows why Mike Smith is an emerging goalie in this league.

And he's become quite the highlight reel this year.

3. Al Montoya, New York Islanders

It's not easy stopping the league's best scorer from hitting the back of the net.

It's definitely not easy doing it twice in a matter of seconds.

But Al Montoya stones Evgeni Malkin here, and to do it a second time while on his stomach is quite impressive.

2. Kari Lehtonen, Dallas Stars

A lot of people don't understand why it's common for hockey players to kick around a soccer ball before a game.

I think this will change that.

Kari Lehtonen's jumping kick-save on Phoenix's Oliver Ekman-Larsson here might just be one of the season's best saves, keeping Dallas alive in overtime.

All it needs is some editing with a 1960's Batman "Pow" bubble.

1. Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers

Plays like this are the reason the New York Rangers are the best team in the Eastern Conference and that Henrik Lundqvist is an elite goaltender.

There was some luck here for Lundqvist and some help from Michael Del Zotto but don't take anything away from the netminder.

Stopping not one but two quick shots makes this one of the year's best saves.

There's no surprise we see him on this list twice.
