Lucic took it personal and responded accordingly.
"The whole community is not happy with something like that happening. Obviously they're proud that a Serbian boy is out fulfilling his dreams," Lucic said. "You never like to see your name 'F Lucic' anywhere. Nevermind the culture center and the church."
The church was not happy itself.
"What he did was wrong. It's time to think twice about doing such a thing because there's no need for something like that to be written anywhere on the church wall," said Ljubomir Kotur, church secretary.
Lilic's girlfriend weighed in on Twitter saying, “This is DISGUSTING! Punks did this to Milan (sic) beloved church! So disgusting!”
A local cleaning company has since come in, and cleaned the church, free of charge.
