A year ago at this time, the Milwaukee Brewers owned arguably MLB's weakest farm system, having sold the farm for Zack Greinke and Shaun Marcum. The club was then faced with the task of replenishing their barren minor-league affiliates through the draft, as well as with the talent already in place.
While they are still a ways off from returning to the upper-echelon of MLB farm systems, they did manage to improve leaps and bounds in just one calendar year. A number of current prospects have begun separating themselves from the pack, looking to heighten their respective ceilings in the big leagues.
