January Transfer Window: Why Juventus Should Not Sign Carlos Tevez
Juventus is preparing to sign Carlos Tevez in the January transfer window, according to an article in The Guardian.
Pavel Nevded, who is one of the club's directors, is understood to have made a series of telephone calls with Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini concerning Tevez.
The conversations include an offer by Juventus to pay Manchester City $32.5 million for the wantaway striker. The bid by Juventus is superior to the offers from AC Milan ($26.6 million) and French club PSG.

Manchester City is asking for for $37.4 million from clubs that want to sign Tevez. However, the ongoing drama has become increasingly complicated with Tevez expressing his desire to remain in Argentina in order to play for Boca Juniors.
Tevez declared, contrary to the advice of his agent Kia Joorabchian, that he does not want to return to England. The reason given is that he is tired of flying back and forth from the American continent to Europe.
AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has said that Tevez must decide between prestige or money as he attempts to sign the Argentina international. The Italian made his declarations in an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport which was published in The Telegraph.
Is Tevez worth all of the publicity and drama in the January transfer window? In my opinion, Tevez is not worth the money nor the time of the teams involved.
He is nothing more than a player who lives off such drama and is a traitor to World Football. I can only imagine Tevez in Argentina looking at the spectacle around him and laughing.
Neither Juventus, Milan, nor anyone else should sign Tevez. Instead, they should show him the exit door from World Football.
