Gabriel Orozco Video: Watch Goalkeeper Bite Face of Opponent Nicolas Cardinal
Apparently Recreativo Estrellas goalkeeper Gabriel Orozco forgot to eat lunch before his team's semifinal matchup against DM Kart because he decided opposing player Nicolas Cardinal's face was a tasty treat to satisfy his appetite.
A video of the crazy incident from Argentina is embedded above.
It starts off with relative normalcy as DM Kart sends a ball into the box. The ball is then directed toward goal, where it is punched over the bar by Orozco. Meanwhile, Cardinal was is the general area of the cross, but didn't appear to make any significant contact with the keeper.

As soon as Orozco regains his footing, however, he engages Cardinal in a bear hug and proceeds to bite him.
Yes, you read that correctly. He decided to take a quick taste of his opponent's face.
Cardinal, after a moment of pure shock, collapses to the pitch as the other players jog toward the box to find out what happened. A gathering of the minds occurs, but nothing much in terms of revenge happens as DM Kart is more worried about their fallen teammate.
The video then cuts to a sideline shot of Cardinal, who is bleeding right next to his mouth.
It was such a crazy situation, in fact, that even Mike Tyson would probably call it crazy.
Based on the report below the video, after the footage ends, the referee eventually sends Orozco off for his act based on the evidence. Cardinal was taken to a local hospital to get his wound checked out.
I wonder if the doctors asked him if he had an encounter with a vampire.
