Week 15 Waiver Wire: Late-Season Sleepers to Spark Teams in Playoffs
It’s fantasy playoff time. That means if you are searching the waiver wire at this point of the season for sleepers, you better wake up.
There are players like Ryan Grant and Jabar Gaffney that have been on the cusp of fantasy legitimacy at times this year, but now is the time to pull the trigger.
All of the following players deserve a long, hard look before passing on them and letting the team you’re playing in Week 15 use them against you. Don’t be that guy.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ryan Grant
The Green Bay Packers have been searching for a run game all season. They may have rediscovered the Ryan Grant they knew before.
We can’t forget Grant was a former 1,000-yard rusher that has been plagued by injuries. With James Starks out with an injury, Grant took his opportunity and ran with it.
Grant had 85 yards rushing on 10 carries and two touchdowns but could have had much more if the Packers didn’t take their foot off the throttle in the second half.
Jabar Gaffney
It’s hard to ever tell what the Washington Redskins will do, but there will remain no doubt that Jabar Gaffney will remain Rex Grossman’s No. 1 weapon.
The return of Santana Moss will have fans worried about a dip in production, but Grossman will continue to look Gaffney’s way until Moss is again acclimated to the system.
While Gaffney has shown he can be shut down, catching no passes against the New York Giants in Week 13, he caught six passes for 92 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against New England. Expect more of the same.
T.J. Yates
I don’t think T.J. Yates got the memo that he was a rookie quarterback in the NFL on Sunday when he led his team on a last-minute touchdown drive that sealed the victory for the Houston Texans.
With stars like Mario Williams and Andre Johnson out, the hampered Texans team hasn’t missed a beat. In fact, Houston could be playing more cohesively now than before.
If you are desperate at quarterback, the answer is Yates. With the return of a weapon like Andre Johnson inevitable, Yates will have the running attack and pass protection to put up more 300-yard, two-touchdown performances.
