NFL Week 14 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Explosive WRs You Must Start
Now that many leagues are in the playoffs, the time for making mistakes is over. Still, that doesn't mean you can't search the waiver wire for good talent. In fact, if you're going to win your league, you'll need to.
Take a look at the receiver position. These players are all available in a lot of leagues and on the bench in the overwhelming majority of them.
These receivers are all in matchups that work well for them. Don't let their points go elsewhere.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Malcom Floyd
Floyd had a strong week against Jacksonville on Monday and is an overall strong receiver. Keep in mind that, while Philip Rivers has struggled with interceptions this year, his yardage totals are still quite strong. When Floyd is on the field, he's a top target for his quarterback.
The Buffalo secondary is aggressive and the thought of them intercepting a few passes from Rivers is far from far fetched. However, that doesn't hurt the receiver's fantasy totals in any way.
While the Bills' secondary does force turnovers, they also allow big plays in the passing game. That's where Floyd's value comes in.
Torrey Smith
Smith has been a strong downfield target all year long. The last few weeks have not been as kind to him, but the Colts don't have the kind of defense that the 49ers or Bengals do.
Joe Flacco's style works well with Smith. He throws a great deep ball and Smith is a downfield threat. What makes Smith so valuable is that it takes about one or two catches from him to be a strong play.
Against the Indianapolis secondary, he'll get more than just one or two big plays.
Williams is technically a bench player, but this goes beyond that. Braylon Edwards has been ineffective all season for the 49ers. San Francisco has also lacked a vertical threat for the majority of the season.
Williams scored against the Cardinals when the two teams met in Week 11, and scored again last week vs. the Rams. His speed makes him a target that the 49ers need to find.
As they strengthen their team for the playoffs, Williams will be a big target. His speed and big-play ability makes him too much to ignore for his team. Since he's going against the Cardinals, the same logic applies for your fantasy team.
