Andre Johnson Injury: Updates on Texans WR's Week 14 Status and Fantasy Value
The Houston Texans have been struck again by the injury bug when star wide receiver Andre Johnson went down with a hamstring injury.
While it isn’t the same hamstring that kept Johnson out five games, it is a big enough concern to fantasy owners who were hoping that Johnson would become a legitimate threat again in time for the fantasy playoffs.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
ESPN Anchor Skip Bayless talks about what yesterday’s victory over the Atlanta Falcons without Johnson on the field meant:

Fantasy Impact
There are two kinds of Andre Johnson owners this year—the guy who stuck with him throughout his first extended injury and the guy who traded for him midseason in hopes he would be at full strength by the time the playoffs arrived.
Both have to be absolutely devastated right now at the possibility of Johnson not returning to the lineup after working this hard and staying this patient.
Who's the Backup?
With rookie quarterback T.J. Yates slinging the ball in Houston and a stellar run game, the Texans offense will look to keep passing short.
I would expect more catches and targets from the tight ends Owen Daniels or Joel Dreessen this week more than an increase in Jacoby Jones or Kevin Walter at wide receiver.
Devastation Scale (7 out of 10)
While they proved they could win in the regular season with Andre Johnson on several occasions, it would make T.J. Yates' life a whole lot easier if Johnson was on the field.
There still has been no word on the severity of this injury, but fantasy owners and Houston Texans fans are joining together in hopes that it isn’t a big deal.
