Big Ten Championship Game: Wisconsin Will Be Redeemed with Michigan State Win

One good turn deserves another. Or to put it far more simply, Wisconsin is about to make Michigan State pay for their previous transgression. 

Do you remember when No. 15 Wisconsin was a dark candidate for a BCS bid? If not, it was right around the same time as Russell Wilson's Heisman hype. 

All that came crushing down when they lost to now-No. 13 Michigan State. The Badgers will take their grudge against the team that sent them spiraling for a brief stint during the middle of the season. 

A last-second Hail Mary from Kirk Cousins to Keith Nichol stunned Wisconsin something fierce. When they awoke two weeks later, they saw that they had not only been derailed by the Spartans, but had been upset by Ohio State. 

The Badgers are back on track now, winners of four straight. The fact that Michigan State is riding the same hot streak means the Big Ten Championship game is going to be a spectacle that can only be described as a real humdinger. 

When you break down what should be an offensively driven affair, I can't help but side with the man of the moment, Russell Wilson. 

If you are weighing intangibles, Wilson will be playing with a huge chip on his shoulder as the two interceptions he threw in Wisconsin's October 22nd game against the Spartans have to haunt him. 

Since that time, Wilson has slowly regrouped and shown the form that had us delighted and Heisman hopeful for him at the start of the season. 

Consider that Wilson hasn't been picked off since that game and now leads the nation with a 192.9 passer rating.

The Badgers star quarterback just put a whopping on Penn State throwing 19-for-29 for 186 yards and two touchdowns.

Both teams are rolling right now, but my money is on the team that was scorned. With a Rose Bowl bid on the line, Wilson will drive the Badgers to the ultimate of laughs. 

With form and poise on his side right now, I don't see Wisconsin's prized transfer losing this weekend.
