Texans vs. Jaguars: 4 Halftime Adjustments for Jacksonville
That wasn't a great showing from Jacksonville, but it wasn't awful, either.
The Jags head into hafltime facing a 20-10 deficit, but this game is far from over. Jacksonville still has a legit shot at taking home an upset victory. Here's four adjustments they should make in the second half.
1. Win the Turnover Battle: You know the adage: Win the turnover battle, win the game. Jacksonville got off to a great start, forcing a fumble on Houston’s first drive and taking it to the house for six. If Gabbert can make good decisions in the second half and not turn the ball over, Jacksonville has a real shot at taking home a win.

2. Bottle Up the Run: Jacksonville has done a pretty good job bottling up Foster and Tate so far, allowing just 71 yards on the ground. They should have eight in the box at all times until Yates or Leinart prove they can make a play downfield.
3. More Touches for MJD: MJD had just 12 touches in the first half. He should have had at least 20. Jacksonville has to be successful running the football to have any chance of coming back and winning this game. Look for a 3-2 run to pass ratio in the second half.
4. Mix It Up: Look, the Jags offense is simply not as good as Houston’s, even if Leinart (or Yates) is playing quarterback. Jacksonville has to think outside the box and get creative. They’re not a team that takes many risks, especially with a rookie playing quarterback. I think a reverse or a flea-flicker could go a long way for this team in the second half.
