Ndamukong Suh Ejection Video: Watch Suh's Birdbrained Stomp on Turkey Day

Alex KayNov 24, 2011

Ndamukong Suh was just ejected from the Detroit Lions game against the Green Bay Packers because he went insane.

He was blocked by Evan Dietrich-Smith and brought to the ground by the lineman. Suh was angry over this and decided to show it by jamming Dietrich-Smith’s helmet into the turf a few times. He then got up slowly and dragged his foot across the chest of the Packers guard and finished it off with a stomp at his arm, which was right near his face.

The referees clearly saw this, blew the whistle, gave him an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that allowed the Packers to score a TD rather than kick a field goal and then kicked him out of the game to boot.

It was possibly the worst decision that the second-year All-Pro defensive tackle could have made.

The Lions direly need him to stop the Packers and he was sorely missed a few plays later when Green Bay FB John Kuhn plowed his way right through the middle of the defense to score.

The stomp was stupid but certainly not surprising.

Suh has a history of extremely violent and over-the-top actions during his short time in the NFL.

He just met with commissioner Rodger Goodell in the beginning of November to discuss his discipline on the field after being flagged and fined for rough hits all season long.

He also said he wasn’t going to change his style and that got him in trouble today. Suh is one of the best in the game at what does when the plays are live, but he needs to let it go after the whistle.

I predict he gets suspended for his actions today because he went ahead and completely disobeyed the commish. It was a blatantly dirty play and harms both his image and the image of the league.
