EPL Weekend Preview: Your Complete Guide to Gameweek 13

Rikki SollisNov 24, 2011

With Gameweek 13 fast approaching, it's time to take a look at the games that are lined up for the weekend. No doubt the big clash of the weekend will be Liverpool versus Man City at Anfield, where Liverpool will attempt to break City's undefeated record.

This guide includes recent form, news on injuries and suspensions and likely lineups, as well as my predictions and predictions from the Castrol EPL Predictor.

Saturday 26 November

(15:00 unless otherwise stated)

Stoke vs. Blackburn (12:45)

Bolton vs. Everton

Chelsea vs. Wolves

Man United vs. Newcastle

Norwich vs. QPR

Sunderland vs. Wigan

West Brom vs. Tottenham

Arsenal vs. Fulham (17:30)

Sunday 27 November

Swansea vs. Aston Villa (13:00)

Liverpool vs. Man City (16:00)

Stoke vs. Blackburn (Saturday, 12:45)

1 of 10

Stoke and Blackburn are teams looking for some form in the EPL, both having amassed a mere three points in their last six games.

Stoke's defence seem a far cry from what they were last season. However, the Britannia Stadium is still an undesirable place to play with the "rugby" football that Stoke have been said to play.

Blackburn's Steve Kean has signed a new contract this week, much to the disgust of the Rovers' support, so he will need to provide them with a good result on Saturday to regain some faith.

Both Stoke and Blackburn sit in the bottom half of the table, in 14th and 19th, respectively. It's squeaky bum time for Blackburn, who will want to avoid the  "bottom at Christmas..." tag.

Blackburn are yet to win away from home this season.

Stoke

Stoke have next-to-no injury worries with the only player out being Mamady Sidibe (knee). Wilson Palacios (knee) should be available for selection and could be set to make a return.

Pulis has put his faith in the Honduran this week in the media, but will he deliver? Begovic is likely to reclaim his place in between the sticks following last week's 3-2 defeat.

Form: L-W-L-L-L-L

Likely Lineup (4-4-1-1):

                                Begovic

Wilkinson    Shawcross        Huth        Higginbotham

Pennant      Whitehead        Delap          Etherington

                         Walters

                                    Jones

Blackburn

Blackburn are sweating over the fitness of some of their key players, with defensive talisman Chris Samba (hamstring) and Martin Olsson (hamstring) both in a race for fitness.

Ryan Nelsen (Knee) and Vincenzo Grella (hip) are still unavailable, while David Dunn is set to serve a suspension thanks to his sending off last week against Wigan.

Form: L-D-L-D-L-D

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                               Robinson

Salgado          Hanley            Dann             Givet

Hoilett            N'Zonzi          Formica     Pedersen

                     Rochina         Yakubu

Clash of the Day

Ryan Shawcross vs Yakubu

Yakubu netted twice in last week's 3-3 draw with Wigan, and the Blackburn top scorer will look to add to his tally this weekend. The strength of Yakubu will undoubtedly put the partnership of Shawcross and Huth to the test, because they won't find it easy to muscle him off the ball. Shawcross will really need to keep his eye on Yakubu, who has an impossible knack for being in the right place at the right time.

Castrol Prediction: 1-0

Rikki's Prediction: 2-2

Both teams are doing shockingly in terms of defence recently, so I'm expecting a few goals. Blackburn have had two high-score draws in their last three, while Stoke have conceded 13 goals in their last four games. Yakubu to get both of Blackburn's goals, and one each for Jon Walters and Kenwyne Jones.

Bolton vs. Everton (Saturday, 15:00)

2 of 10

Bolton versus Everton is the perfect coupling of two teams in almost identical form. Both teams have won twice and lost on four occasions in their last six games, and this game is a chance for one to take a vital three points.

On top of this, both teams have a glaring weakness. Owen Coyle has recently come forward in the media, suggesting that his top players aren't performing well enough, and he is not afraid to demote them to the bench in order to bring in youngsters who will show a bit of passion. Bolton have lost three-quarters of their games this season, which has made them relegation candidates, currently sitting in 18th.

Everton cannot seem to score. In fact, there have only been three occasions this season where they have scored more than once in a game, and players like Louis Saha will need to up their game or David Moyes will be looking elsewhere in January.

Everton are currently in 12th.

Bolton

The Bolton physio has his work cut out at the moment with seven first-team injuries. Stuart Holden, Chung-Yong Lee and Tyrone Mears are all on the long-term list with a broken leg each, while Dedryck Boyata (ankle) and Samuel Ricketts (achilles) are also on the sidelines.

Mikel Alonso (foot) and Ricardo Gardener (knock) could be available for the match pending fitness tests.

Form: L-W-L-L-W-L

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                          Jaaskeleinen

Riley           Cahill               Wheater       Robinson

Eagles      Muamba               Petrov         M Davies

                 Klasnic              K Davies

Everton

Victor Anichebe (groin) is still out of contention, while Phil Neville (hamstring), Jack Rodwell (rib) and Sylvain Distin (groin) are doubts. Phil Jagielka is taking painkiller injections for a broken toe, but should be starting on Saturday.

Form: L-L-W-L-L-W

Likely Lineup (4-4-1-1):

                               Howard

Hibbert           Heitinga        Jagielka       Baines

Coleman        Fellaini           Osman       Drenthe

                          Cahill

                                  Saha

Clash of the Day

Gary Cahill vs Tim Cahill

It's the battle of the Cahills as England's newest young starlet, battles it out with Everton's talisman. Gary will almost certainly be thinking of a January move, and a quality performance against namesake Tim would undoubtedly put some of the EPL's top managers on red alert.

Tim, on the other hand, will be looking for the goals that Everton fans are craving. The strikers can't seem to hit the back of the net, so it'll be down to Cahill to start putting them in.

Castrol Prediction: 0-1

Rikki's Prediction: 0-0

I can't really see either side coming out on top in this. Neither team is amongst the goals at the moment, and the end scoreline will reflect this. I think a bore draw is on the cards, and a "safety-first" 90 minutes for the fans to endure.

Chelsea vs. Wolves (Saturday, 15:00)

3 of 10

Chelsea have lost their last two home games against Arsenal and Liverpool and will look for a return to form as they host Wolves.

Chelsea find themselves in the somewhat unfamiliar position of fifth and will look to get on terms with Newcastle, who face the tough challenge of Man United. Chelsea will need to improve on their recent return of nine points from a possible 18 if they are to stay on course for a UCL place. Villas-Boas needs a win to get the fans back onside.

Wolves sit just above the relegation zone in 17th, but with Christmas fast approaching they will want to get as many points on the board as they can in order to avoid the bottom three.

Chelsea

Chelsea boast a close-to-perfect bill of health, with Michael Essien (cruciate ligaments) being the only real injury issue at Stamford Bridge. Ashley Cole (ankle) could be a possible doubt.

Daniel Sturridge's impressive form could merit him a starting place, especially in wake of the poor start to the season that Drogba and Torres have had. Expect Bosingwa to reclaim his place from David Luiz.

Form: W-L-W-L-W-L

Likely Lineup (4-3-3):

                                Cech

Bosingwa       Ivanovic        Terry            Cole

                              Ramires

                 Meireles            Lampard

     Mata                Sturridge              Malouda

Wolves

Wolves face issues in both defence and midfield as defenders Richard Stearman (arm) and Kevin Foley (ankle) are sidelined by injury, while Jamie O'Hara and Stephen Hunt face suspensions.

With the absence of Stearman and understudy Kevin Foley at right-back, Mick McCarthy will have to shuffle his backline, which could see George Elokobi return to the first 11.

Form: L-L-D-L-W-L

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                               Hennessey

Elokobi           Johnson          Berra        Ward

Edwards          Henry            Milijas        Hunt

                     Fletcher           Doyle

Clash of the Day

Daniel Sturridge vs Wayne Hennessey

Sturridge started against Leverkusen midweek and will most likely retain his place against Wolves. The young Chelsea striker will be looking to solidify a first-team place, and this weekend will be the perfect opportunity.

Hennessey, on the other hand, will be looking to ensure a bad day at the office for Sturridge, and will really need to be on form to keep the young English starlet at bay.

Castrol Prediction: 3-0

Rikki's Prediction: 2-0

A brace from Daniel Sturridge to get the Blues back in amongst the points. Villas Boas will be safe for another week. However, the worst is yet to come with Newcastle and City in the coming weeks. Wolves' solid start to the season has certainly come undone.

Manchester United vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 15:00)

4 of 10

High-flying Newcastle will travel to Old Trafford this weekend and will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season by causing an upset. Realistically, the Magpies will be searching for a point, but may have to put on a defending clinic in order to keep the United attackers at bay.

United have won their last three games 1-0 and have not conceded a goal since their derby day drubbing from Man City.

United and Newcastle are both currently in UCL spots, in 2nd and 4th, respectively, and it could be noted that United have never lost to the Toon at Old Trafford since the start of the EPL.

Manchester United

United skipper Nemanja Vidic will be making a return to the squad following his mid-week suspension against Benfica.

Welbeck (hamstring), Smalling (foot) and Young (toe) should all be available for selection following their returns from injury. Anderson and Rafael remain doubtful, while Owen (thigh) and Cleverley (ankle) are still unavailable.

It was confirmed mid week that Rooney (hip) was a doubt, so we could see a rare start for Dimitar Berbatov.

Form: W-D-L-W-W-W

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                                De Gea

Jones          Ferdinand          Vidic            Evra

Nani             Fletcher          Carrick         Young

                   Berbatov        Hernandez

Newcastle

Obertan (toe) faces a race for fitness if he is to line up against his former club, while Best (groin) and Tiote (knee) could also return to action. Sylvain Marveaux (groin) and Mike Williamson (ankle) are still on the long-term injury list

Form: W-D-W-W-W-L

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                                 Krul

Simpson          S Taylor         Coloccini       R Taylor

Obertan             Tiote             Cabaye       Gutierrez

                        Best                Ba

Clash of the Day

Javier Hernandez vs Fabricio Coloccini

Coloccini has undoubtedly been one of Newcastle's most important players this season, and has contributed greatly to the impressive defensive record that the Magpies have demonstrated. Coloccini will have his hands full on Saturday having to deal with the likes of Chicarito, Rooney, Berbatov and Welbeck. However, the Captain will need to lead by example and keep his composure to limit United's chances.

Chicarito is one of the fastest, if not the fastest, players in the EPL, so Coloccini will have to keep a watchful eye on him, as he can be very dangerous on the break.

Castrol Prediction: 2-0

Rikki's Prediction: 2-0

Newcastle put up a valiant effort against City, but I think United's defence will be on lockdown after the mid-week mistakes against Benfica.

United have recently been accused of playing too safely in the EPL, leading to boring performances, but I think they'll need to play it safe against the Magpies, who have prove that they are no pushovers this season. Chicarito to grab the first goal in the first half before Young seals the win in the second half.

Norwich vs. QPR (Saturday, 15:00)

5 of 10

The two recently promoted sides have done fairly well in their first 12 games, meaning that preseason expectations of worrying about relegation have been banished, and now fans have set their hearts on mid-table finishes.

QPR have found an unlikely talisman in Heidar Helguson, who has been pretty consistent for them so far this season. Adel Taarabt hasn't set he EPL on fire this year like expected and is yet to hit top gear. Joey Barton has proved his worth so far this season, justifying the faith that was put in him by manager Neil Warnock. QPR are coming fresh off of a 3-2 win over Stoke and will be looking for this run to go on.

Neither team has had difficulty finding the net, with Norwich scoring 10 in the last five games, while QPR have scored seven in five.

Needless to say, both teams need to keep their guards up, because a run of a few bad games could see them quickly slip back down towards the relegation zone. QPR and Norwich are currently 9th and 11th, respectively.

Norwich

Norwich don't have any fresh injury troubles, although Zak Whitbread (hamstring), Daniel Ayala (knee), James Vaughan (knee) and Elliot Ward (knee) are still on the long-term injury list.

Form: L-W-D-D-L-L

Likely Lineup (4-4-1-1):

                                Ruddy

Naughton         Martin         Barnett         Tierney

Crofts             Johnson         Fox         Pilkington

                              Hoolohan

                               Morison

QPR

QPR have a fair few injuries going into Saturday's game, including one or two key players. Luke Young (knee) and Danny Gabbidon are on the verge of coming back from injury but may not feature this weekend, while Matthew Connolly (ankle) is still a fair way off of a return.

Moving up to the midfield, Kieron Dyer (foot) is still unavailable, and Joey Barton is set to serve a suspension after earning his fifth yellow card of the season against Stoke.

QPR could also have up to four strikers unavailable as DJ Campbell (foot) and Rob Hulse (knee) remain on the long-term list, while talisman Heidar Helguson (knock) and Jay Bothroyd (hamstring) are doubtful.

Form: L-D-W-L-L-W

Likely Lineup (4-4-1-1):

                                  Kenny

Orr                Ferdinand        Hill         Traore

W-Phillips       Faurlin         Derry       Taarabt

                    Puncheon

                                       Mackie

Clash of the Day

Steve Morison vs Anton Ferdinand

The Welsh striker has clocked three goals in his last four appearances, his most recent being the opener against Arsenal last weekend. His pace and strength could make a fool of Anton Ferdinand on Saturday, if the QPR defender doesn't keep him under control.

Castrol Prediction: 2-1

Rikki's Prediction: 2-1

QPR have so many injuries, and I think they'll especially struggle without Helguson and Barton. Players like Taarabt and Wright-Phillips will need to step up their game if QPR are to take something from this game. Pilkington and Morison to get the goals for Norwich, with Mackie to grab a consolation goal.

Sunderland vs. Wigan (Saturday, 15:00)

6 of 10

Luckless Wigan take on Sunderland this weekend, where both managers will be looking for a bit of breathing space.

Up until last weekend, Wigan had lost eight games in a row, and the high-scoring draw with Blackburn didn't really help their situation. Currently they sit bottom of the table, and it can only be a matter of time before the fans call for Roberto Martinez to get the sack. One key problem for Martinez this season is that his top players haven't performed, and he's had to blood some of the Wigan youngsters as a result.

Sunderland find themselves in 15th and have only chalked up two wins all season much to the dismay of manager Steve Bruce and the Black Cats' fans. Some people have accredited this poor form to the wealth of new faces at the Stadium of Light, and the players have called for the fans to be patient and the results will come.

Sunderland

Kieron Westwood is likely to start again thanks to a solid performance last weekend and the continued absences of Craig Gordon (knee) and Simon Mignolet (face). A spate of knee injuries also keeps Titus Bramble, Marcos Angeleri, Conor Wickham and Frazier Campbell out of the team. Ji Dong-Won is lacking in match fitness, so is also unlikely to feature.

Form: D-L-W-D-L-D

Likely Lineup (4-4-1-1):

                                Westwood

Bardsley          Brown             Turner             O'Shea

Larsson          Colback        Cattermole     Richardson

                   Sessegnon

                                           Bendtner

Wigan

Chris Kirkland (back) is the only issue injury-wise. However, Ali Al-Habsi is more than adequate cover. Antolin Alcaraz will be serving the second part of his three-match ban for spitting at an opponent during Wigan's game against Wolves.

Form:  L-L-L-L-L-D

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                               Al-Habsi

Stam            Gohouri           Caldwell          Figueroa

McCarthy       Jones              Gomez           Diame

                    Moses             Di Santo

Clash of the Day

Nicklas Bendtner vs Ali Al-Habsi

The ever-charismatic and arrogant Bendtner hasn't really proved his worth since arriving at the Stadium of Light and is going to need to start working hard if Steve Bruce isn't to look elsewhere come January. What better way to start than to kick a formless Wigan while they're down?

Despite this, Al-Habsi is a quality shot-stopper who could really make Bendtner's afternoon miserable, and Wigan will really be relying on him to be on form to keep Sunderland's side of the scoreboard clear.

Castrol Prediction: 1-0

Rikki's Prediction: 2-0

Sunderland's fortunes are surely about to change, and a game against Wigan offers a prime opportunity to get a win that they can build upon. Bendtner and Sessegnon aren't pulling their weight at the moment, so expect the goals to come from the midfield and defence.

West Brom vs Tottenham (Saturday, 15:00)

7 of 10

Tottenham's run of incredible form will be challenged by West Brom this weekend, but with the Baggies amidst a fairly awkward injury crisis, could Spurs pick up an easy three points?

In their last six games, Spurs have racked up an impressive 16 points thanks to impressive individual performances from star players including Adebayor, Bale, Van Der Vaart and of course an in-form Brad Friedel, who has kept Heurehlo Gomes on the bench.

West Brom have spent most of this season without talismanic striker Peter Odemwingie. However, Shane Long has provided adequate cover, although now the Irish striker finds himself on the sidelines.

Spurs are currently riding high in third place thanks to their good form, while West Brom are in 10th.

West Brom

Roy Hodgson could have an issue picking a striker on Saturday as Odemwingie (knee) and Long (knock) are not 100 percent fit. Simon Cox may have to step up and partner makeshift striker Zoltan Gera. Paul Scharner (knee) and Graham Dorrans (ankle) could make their full returns pending late fitness tests.

Form: D-W-W-L-L-W

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                                Foster

Reid            McCauley         Olsson        Shorey

Brunt           Morrison          Dorrans       Thomas

                    Gera                Cox

Tottenham

Tom Huddlestone (ankle), Niko Kranjcar (knock) and Michael Dawson (Achilles) are only really minor worries for Harry Redknapp, and they shouldn't really affect his choice of starting XI.

Form: W-D-W-W-W-W

Likely Lineup (4-5-1):

                          Friedel

Walker         King         Kaboul    Assou-Ekotto

                 Parker             Modric

Lennon            Van Der Vaart                 Bale

                         Adebayor

Clash of the Day

Ben Foster vs Spurs Attack

Ben Foster is really going to have to be on his toes to even think about keeping a clean sheet on Saturday night. Adebayor, Bale, Van Der Vaart and Modric will be high on confidence after Monday night and will no doubt be trying their luck from all angles hoping for a slip up from the ex-England international. I have a feeling that by the end of 90 minutes, Foster will have either had a nightmare performance or a MOTM performance, nothing in between.

Castrol Prediction: 1-2

Rikki's Prediction: 0-2

Spurs are on a roll and confidence is high, whereas the Baggies probably won't even have a fit first-choice striker ready for the game, which will undoubtedly be detrimental. Another Adebayor brace wouldn't be a surprise, as I think he's really going to hit his groove at Tottenham.

Arsenal vs. Fulham (Saturday, 17:30)

8 of 10

Arsenal host Fulham in this weekend's London derby, and with their season seemingly back on track, will the Gunners continue their run with another win?

Arsenal had an atrocious start to the season but have really started to turn things around, winning their last five games, pulling them up to 7th in the league. Having qualified from the group stages of the UCL mid week, confidence will be high going into this game, but Arsenal fans will be hoping that the players don't get overconfident.

Fulham have had a poor start to the season, and barring the 6-0 drubbing of QPR, they have really struggled to find goals, which was exemplified in the painful bore draw against Sunderland last weekend. Fulham are currently in 16th and will be looking to significantly improve this over the festive period.

Arsenal

Full-backs Sagna (ankle) and Kieron Gibbs (hernia) are still on the long-term injury list, meaning that Laurent Koscielny will likely become makeshift right-back while Santos keeps his spot at left-back. Jack Wilshere (ankle) also remains on the sidelines, while Diaby (ankle) is a major doubt.

Form: W-W-W-W-W-L

Likely Lineup (4-2-3-1):

                              Szczesny

Koscielny    Vermaelen        Mertesacker    Santos

                    Ramsey               Song

Walcott                      Arteta                    Gervinho

                              Van Persie

Fulham

Grygera (cruciate ligaments), Simon Davies (knee) and Orlando Sa (hamstring) are still on the long-term injury list. Steve Sidwell (hernia) and Stephen Kelly (groin) are unlikely to make returns to the team.

Form: D-L-W-L-W-W

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                                Schwarzer

Hughes         Hangeland           Baird     Senderos

Dempsey       Murphy              Etuhu             Duff

                     Zamora            Johnson

Clash of the Day

Robin Van Persie vs Brede Hangeland and Chris Baird

RVP has hit form that would rival that of Messi and Ronaldo. The Arsenal striker really cannot stop scoring at the moment and has shown time and time again that he is a quality striker with a knack for turning up at the right place at the right time. Hangeland and Baird do not look half as strong as they did last season, and RVP will make a mockery of them if they don't get their heads down on Saturday.

For the statisticians among you, Van Persie has netted 33 time in his last 30 games.

Castrol Prediction: 2-1

Rikki's Prediction: 3-0

Arsenal's early season nightmare seems a distant memory with "Rocking Robin" firing on all cylinders up front. I'd expect RVP to score at least once on Saturday, with maybe Walcott adding one of his own. I don't think it will be long before the Cottagers are fretting over relegation.

Swansea vs. Aston Villa (Sunday, 13:30)

9 of 10

This will be the first-ever occasion that these two teams have met in the Premier League. Swansea, like the other two promoted teams, have performed relatively well so far this season, finding themselves in 13th, rather than the 19th or 20th which most pundits expected preseason.

One of Swansea's best players this season has undoubtedly been Michael Vorm between the sticks. He has put in several quality performances, including a clean sheet against Liverpool.

Villa have had a comfortable start to the season, finding themselves in 8th, and fans will be expecting an equally comfortable win over the Swans.

Swansea

Alan Tate (broken leg) is the only blemish on a virtually clean bill of health.

Form: W-L-D-W-D-L

Likely Lineup (4-5-1):

                                Vorm

Rangel          Williams        Monk          Taylor

Sinclair   Routledge   Dobbie    Britton      Dyer

                              Graham

Aston Villa

Villa have no injury concerns going into the weekend.

Form: W-L-L-D-W-L

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                           Given

Hutton         Dunne       Collins       Warnock

Albrighton    Jenas        Petrov        N'Zogbia

                   Bent      Agbonlahor

Clash of the Day

Darren Bent and Gabby Agbonlahor vs Michael Vorm

This pairing is really developing, and I think with a little more communication they could be very prolific for both Villa and England. Out of the two, I think Agbonlahor is the one who has had the better season so far, but with the right support these two could set the EPL alight. These two could really make Vorm's afternoon a nightmare.

Castrol Prediction: 1-0

Rikki's Prediction: 1-3

I would predict that Swansea will take an early lead through a Danny Graham goal, before Gabby-Ag nets a brace and Bent gets one for himself. I think Swansea could find themselves slipping down the table as we edge closer to Christmas before getting caught in the relegation dog fight—or "doing a Blackpool," if you like.

Liverpool vs. Manchester City (Sunday, 16:00)

10 of 10

City's 100-percent record could be under threat as they travel to Anfield on Sunday, and following the mid-week disappointment in Naples, will City be in the right frame of mind to record a win over Liverpool? Last weekend Liverpool recorded a "smash and grab" style victory over Chelsea, so Liverpool fans will be hopeful for the City clash at the weekend.

City are currently five points clear at the top of the EPL and look absolutely unstoppable this season, but it's been proved in Europe that they are in fact beatable. Liverpool currently sit in sixth.

Confidence could be the difference maker in this game; Liverpool's spirits are extremely high, whereas City's morale will be low. Could Liverpool pull of an upset?

Liverpool

The absence of Steven Gerrard (ankle) is the only really notable injury. Carroll is likely to reclaim his place from Craig Bellamy, while the rest of the team will probably remain unchanged.

Form: W-D-D-W-D-W

Likely Lineup (4-4-2):

                                Reina

Johnson          Skrtel          Agger         Enrique

Rodriguez       Adam          Lucas             Kuyt

                     Carroll         Suarez

Manchester City

The only absence from the City side will be injury-prone Owen Hargreaves (calf), who keeps his regular place... on the sidelines. Expect Micah Richards, Sergio Aguero, Gael Clichy and Gareth Barry to make their returns to the squad.

Form: W-W-W-W-W-W

Likely Lineup: (4-4-1-1)

                                  Hart

Richards       Kompany      Lescott       Clichy

Silva               Barry           Toure         Milner

                    Aguero

                                       Balotelli

Clash of the Day

Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique vs David Silva and James Milner

The City wingers have been deadly creative for this season, causing problems for all oppositions they've faced. Johnson and Enrique will need to be on top of their game to keep these two midfield maestros at bay.

Equally, Milner and Silva will need to watch the two full-backs as they inevitably push forward. On a good day, Johnson and Enrique can be just as big a threat as any other winger in the EPL.

Castrol Prediction: 2-1

Rikki's Prediction: 2-1

That's right, I'm backing City to lose. There will undoubtedly be backlash from the midweek game, and I think Liverpool will take full advantage. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a red card in there somewhere, either.

Liverpool haven't lost at Anfield this season, and I fully expect them to continue this record.

Make sure to tune in next week for the Gameweek 14 Complete Guide, and if there's anything else you'd like to see included in future, then feel free to leave a comment.
