Key Storyline
This is the last time these two teams will meet as Big 12 conference foes.
Missouri is getting ready to head to the treacherous SEC and will finish their last regular season game in their current conference against a very easy opponent.
They won’t have many easy games like this ever again and will be joining easily the most competitive conference in college football.
Look for the Tigers to win big here against a Jayhawks team that hasn’t managed a victory since Week 2 of the season.
Mizzou will definitely be headed to a solid bowl game after they pick up this road W.

RB Henry Josey, OUT (Knee): Josey was the fifth-leading rusher in the nation going into Week 11, but will have to sit the rest of the season out after suffering a badly damaged knee. He will be getting his ACL worked on in three months while the rest of his surgically repaired knee heals.

No recent major injuries to report.
BCS/Top 25 Implications
Missouri is currently receiving a few votes in USA Today Poll, but is not a threat to jump back into the Top 25 barring some drastic losses by teams ahead of them.
Regardless, if they win on Saturday, they should find themselves in a decent bowl game with a 7-5 record.
Kansas is suffering another dismal season and will have to wait until next year to fight for their first winning season and bowl appearance since 2008.
What They're Saying
Dave Matter at The Columbia Tribune is reporting that the team will be resuming “business as usual” in their second game without suspended head coach Gary Pinkel.
"Defensive coordinator Dave Steckel and offensive coordinator David Yost will continue running the program. Filling in for Pinkel, who was suspended after last week’s DWI arrest, on today’s Big 12 teleconference, Steckel said he and Yost are keeping Pinkel abreast of the staff’s game-plan for Saturday’s game against Kansas.
"
J. Brady McCollough of The Kansas City Star found that Kansas’ miserable season would be somewhat salvaged by beating the Tigers this weekend.
"“Since we’re not going to a bowl game,” KU cornerback Greg Brown said, “we’ll look at this as being a bowl game. We haven’t won against them since a few times back. Going out there against them this time and getting this win would definitely be uplifting for our team.”
"
Missouri Player to Watch: James Franklin
Franklin has been the best player during most of Missouri’s wins this season.
The dual-threat QB has been accounting for a ton of touchdowns this season and is the team's active leading rusher after Josey was shut down.
Look for him to have a great game against the weak Jayhawk defense.
Kansas Player to Watch: James Sims
Sims has been one of the only bright spots for this downtrodden Kansas team all season long.
Most of his production has come in garbage time against second-stringers, but at least he has something we can refer to as “production” for this awful program.
Key Matchup: Kansas defense vs. Missouri offense.
Kansas gives up a whopping 45.5 points per game and could not stop a JV high school team from scoring on them.
Missouri is No. 11 in the nation in rushing yards per game and scores 32.9 points per game.
They will run wild on the Jayhawks unless something drastic changes in the final week of the season.
