Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins: Spread Info, Line and Predictions
One of the best rivalries in the NFL is going to be on display as the Dallas Cowboys (5-4) travel to take on the Washington Redskins (3-6).
This rivalry has seen some epic games—however, this year these two teams have been polar opposites of each other. The Cowboys have been on a big wave of momentum, winning their last two games, while the Redskins are on a free fall, losing six of their last seven games.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
When: Sunday, Nov. 20 at 1:00 p.m. EDT
Watch: Fox
Betting Line: According to SBGlobal, the Cowboys are a seven-point favorite, which is a great line to take. The Cowboys have established a punishing running game to complement their already dynamic passing attack.
Betting Over/Under: According to SBGlobal, the over/under is 41.5 points. Take the over in this game, as the Cowboys will run the score up in this game against their rivals.
Who Might Not Play For Dallas:
LB Sean Lee: Lee has been dealing with a wrist injury for the last couple of weeks. However, this week he is probable for the Redskins game.
CB Mike Jenkins: Jenkins is out for this week’s game against Washington due to a hamstring injury.
WR Miles Austin: Austin is out again this week due to a hamstring injury he suffered two weeks ago.
Who Might Not Play for Washington:
S LaRon Landry: Landry is questionable with an Achilles injury. He may not be able to go against the Cowboys due to this injury.
LR London Fletcher: Fletcher has been dealing with an ankle injury this week, which has made him probable for this week’s game.
WR Niles Paul: Paul is out this week with an injured toe.
Fantasy Big Players:
Dallas, RB DeMarco Murray: Murray has been one of the best running backs in the NFL over the last four weeks. Since he took over for an injured Felix Jones, he has had three games where he rushed for over 130 yards.
Dallas, QB Tony Romo: Romo has been one of the better fantasy quarterbacks in the NFL this year. In three of Romo’s last four games he has had two or more touchdowns. While in those four games, Romo has only thrown one interception.
Dallas, WR Dez Bryant: Bryant has emerged as the go-to receiver in this Cowboys offense since Austin went down with an injury. He has filled in the role as the No. 1 receiver very well, as last week he led the team in catches with six, receiving yards with 74 and had a touchdown.
Key to Dallas win:
The Cowboys have to get Murray involved in the offense. In the Cowboys' last two victories, he has had games of over 130 yards and a touchdown. His success has taken pressure off of Romo and the passing game.
The Cowboys have to keep protecting Romo. As we said above, Romo only has one interception over his last four games. It’s not a surprise that the Cowboys are 3-1 over those games.
The Cowboys have to keep on forcing turnovers. Last week against the Bills, the Cowboys forced three interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.
Key to Washington win:
The Redskins have to establish some form of a running game. They keep on switching between Roy Helu and Ryan Torain. They have to pick one and stick with him throughout the game.
The Redskins have to put pressure on Romo. When Romo is hit, he starts to force throws. When he forces his throws it results in bad interceptions—like when the Cowboys lost to the Lions this year.
The Redskins have to find a way to get ahead early in the game. When the Eagles beat the Cowboys three weeks ago, they put a lot of points up early in the game. It took the running game away from Dallas, making them a one-dimensional team.
Prediction: The Redskins started this season with a lot of promise. They won their first two games and looked like they could contend in the NFC East this year. However, since Week 4 this team has lost six straight games and has fallen out of contention.
The Cowboys, however, have found a running back who can finally take over a game by himself. They haven’t had someone like this since the days of Emmitt Smith. DeMarco Murray has a big day, while Romo throws for two touchdowns this week in a Dallas blowout.
