NFL Picks Week 11: San Diego Chargers' Woes Will Continue vs. Chicago Bears
It was a little late to the season, but the usual malaise that hits the San Diego Chargers has finally caught up to them.
This, however, is no ordinary malaise. Every season we are hit with a Chargers team that is for some reason turnover prone and bumbling on special teams.
Their talent is thwarted because of issues between the ears. Now they have a scarier issue than mental errors, and this the knowledge that Philip Rivers is human. The usually stout quarterback has been in a funk that is threatening the season and will serve to once again deal San Diego a humbling loss.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I see destruction in their future in Week 11. This time it will be a combination of their failures as well as meeting a team on the rise. The Chicago Bears are back into contender form and are poised to deliver a wallop on Rivers and company.
The Bears have won four straight for a simple reason: Their defense is ridiculous right now. They are keyed in on every play and are forcing turnovers aplenty.
That is the worst kind of team the Chargers want to face right now. I still have confidence in the San Diego defense stifling the Bears attack, but not to the degree it needs to.
The problems for Rivers are exacerbated as his offensive line continues to be hit by injury. The soft line will be met with a versatile defense that will have Rivers making the same odd mistakes we have seen from him on a weekly basis.
You can hardly blame lackluster protection on all of Rivers' issues. The once-lauded superstar is now the league leader in the sort of things you want to steer clear of. This season has dealt him 15 interceptions and 19 turnovers.
Most of that comes from passes that are thrown wide or missteps in ball handling. For some reason, his head just isn't in the game.
He will need a complete role reversal if he is going to lead the Chargers past the Bears in a must-win game. I just don't think he has it in him.
