Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings: Tony Romo and QBs Entering Beast Mode
This might be the best time in the history of fantasy football to be a quarterback. The NFL game has changed so much over the years that more teams are using the pass to do everything, including using it as a de facto running game.
There have been great performances throughout the league by quarterbacks. Some of them you could have easily predicted, while others have come out of nowhere to shine in 2011.
As we enter the final stretch of the season, there are some quarterbacks standing above all the others. Here are three that will shine in Week 11.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
It turns out that all Romo needed was a consistent running game to turn him into the quarterback that we all thought he could be. DeMarco Murray’s emergence has made life much easier for everyone on this team.
Life has been good for Romo over the last two weeks. The Cowboys quarterback has thrown for 549 yards and five touchdowns. This week, against a battered and bruised Redskins team, things will continue to come easy to the oft-criticized signal-caller.
The one thing that Romo has to improve on, at least as far as fantasy is concerned, is in yardage numbers. He hasn’t thrown for over 300 yards since Week 6, so I am expecting him to get back over that threshold this week and to throw a couple of touchdowns in for good measure.
Carson Palmer, Oakland Raiders
Palmer has been on an upward trajectory in the three games he has played since being acquired by the Raiders prior to Week 6. He had a strong effort against the Chargers in Week 10, with the most encouraging sign being that he only threw one interception.
This week, Palmer has a great matchup against a Vikings defense that ranks 30th against the pass. They are still going to run the ball, even with Darren McFadden out, but they will also take plenty of shots down the field.
Palmer should have his best game of the season by far, and fantasy owners everywhere will bask in the glow of his success.
Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears
Despite still being incredibly inconsistent to the point that he makes you want to pull your hair out, Cutler is going to be a solid fantasy start over the final seven weeks of the season. There will be moments when he struggles, of course, but for the most part he will be a significant upgrade over what we usually get from him.
Cutler has found a receiver that he trusts in Earl Bennett, and Mike Martz has tailored the offense to suit his quarterback’s strengths. This only makes him more valuable.
A matchup with the underachieving San Diego Chargers this weekend is going to get Cutler back on track after last week’s setback.
Expect Cutler to throw for at least 260 yards and two touchdown passes.
