Minnesota vs. Green Bay: Why Game Is Most Important Fantasy Matchup of Season
Adrian Peterson and Aaron Rodgers are the two most important fantasy football players in the NFL.
Period.
Fantasy owners rely more heavily on these two players on a week-to-week basis than any other in the league.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Heck, Rodgers hasn't even played yet this week and he still leads the NFL in touchdown passes while Peterson is fifth in the league in rushing yards and second in rushing touchdowns.
By night's end he could easily take the top spot in both categories.
In most leagues they were two of the top three picks, if not No. 1 and No. 2.
The Vikings vs. Packers may not look like an important Monday Night Football game, but you can be sure that anyone with a fantasy football team is going to be watching.
No lead is safe against Adrian Peterson or Aaron Rodgers.
And they're not the only ones that owners will be watching for.
Every receiving target on Green Bay is a threat with Rodgers under center. Add in the Vikings secondary and we could see fireworks.
Greg Jennings and Jermichael Finley are must-starts every week and could easily erupt for big yardage or multiple touchdowns.
Jordy Nelson is a big play waiting to happen and a risky play owners love to gamble on.
James Jones, Randall Cobb and James Starks, although very hit-or-miss, are also in play tonight.
Even John Kuhn, the ultimate touchdown vulture inside the 2-yard line, is a possibility to impact a fantasy matchup.
And we cannot forget about the Packers defense hosting a rookie quarterback or Mason Crosby booting field goals.
Oh yeah, and that is just the Packers.
Peterson is the main attraction for the Vikings, but Percy Harvin is also a heavily used weapon. The star receiver is used in return packages as well as running plays and is a threat to score every time he touches the football.
The Vikings also have deep sleepers like wide receiver Michael Jenkins and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe.
There is even the possibility of a few fantasy owners being stuck with the Vikings defense tonight. We all feel bad for you (obviously your opponents don't) and wish you luck.
This matchup of the 2-6 Minnesota Vikings and 8-0 Green Bay Packers may look like another prime-time disappointment on paper, but you would be dead wrong for two reasons.
One, these division rivals played only three weeks ago and the Packers escaped Minnesota with a 33-27 win. Rodgers threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns while Peterson ran for 175 and one score.
Two, with the fantasy playoffs just around the corner, this Week 10 Monday Night Football game is the most important fantasy matchup of the year.
We've certainly had too many disgusting games on Monday night this year, but this one gives us plenty of reason to watch.
