Saints vs. Falcons: TV Schedule, Live Streaming, Radio, Game Time and More
The Falcons and Saints will do battle for first place in the NFC South. The Saints currently enjoy a half-game lead over the Falcons, but the teams are tied in the loss column.
This is the first of two meetings this season for these two. This has all the makings of an exciting game that is well-played and filled with scoring.
While the Falcons will enjoy the home-field advantage, the Saints can afford to go all out knowing they have a bye the following week.

Fantasy Start 'Em, Sit 'Em and Sleeper
Start 'Em: Falcons RB Michael Turner
Turner is a must-start every week, and this game is no different. The Saints have struggled stopping opposing rushing attacks. They are a decent 17th in rushing yards allowed per game, but a horrid 32nd in yards allowed per rush at 5.3.
This points to a big day for Turner, who has 692 yards and seven touchdowns on the season.
Sit 'Em: Saints RB Darren Sproles
The Falcons are playing some solid rush defense. They are seventh in rushing yards allowed per game and ninth in yards allowed per attempt.
Stopping Sproles on the ground is just part of the equation, though. He is also a lethal receiver. In this regard, the Falcons should offer stiff opposition as well.
Football Outsiders ranks them 15th in defending RBs in the pass game.
Sleeper: Falcons WR Julio Jones
Jones is starting to get the hang of the NFL game. He has gone over 100 yards receiving in three of his past four games. He is also coming off a game with two touchdown receptions. His first two in the NFL.
He will be going against a Saints defense that is 14th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game, and he is going to produce.
What They're Saying: This matchup has turned into one of the better rivalries in the NFL.
"Last year, the Saints ruffled a few Falcon feathers when some of their defensive players celebrated and posed for pictures after their Week 16 victory inside the Georgia Dome.
The Falcons are mostly insisting that they have either forgotten about that incident or that it wasn't a big deal, though some players insisted last year that they would keep it in the back of their minds.
'There is trash talk every week,' Falcons tailback Michael Turner told the Atlanta media. 'We know we don't like each other. We've been fighting each other since 2008 for this division. It's a rivalry game...
'It's pretty close. This is one of the most overlooked rivalries in football right now. We've been playing some great games. We respect each other, but when it comes down to Sunday, we try to be the better team.'
"
Saints Player to Watch: QB Drew Brees
Brees has been extremely productive this year. The problem is that he has been productive for both teams. Brees has thrown for 3,004 yards and 21 touchdowns, but he has also chucked 11 interceptions.
He has the ability to throw his team in or out of a game.
Falcons Player to Watch: TE Tony Gonzalez
Gonzalez is defying age. He continues to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL, and he is the backbone of this passing game—especially in the red zone.
Gonzalez leads the Falcons with five touchdown receptions. He commands double coverage close to the goal line and most of the time that isn't enough.
Key Matchup: Falcons RB Michael Turner vs. Saints' Front Seven
The Falcons are at their best when Michael Turner sets the tone on offense. He is in a position to do just that in this one.
As we discussed in the fantasy section, the Saints have struggled to stop the run. They are going to need to do a much better job of that in this one, or their defense will have a hard time getting off of the field.
On the Hot Seat: QB Drew Brees
Brees has to limit his interceptions. No one is calling for his starting job or anything as foolish as that, but his standing as one of the league's elite QBs is in serious jeopardy.
He needs to start protecting the ball, and that needs to start this week.
Prediction: Falcons 27, Saints 24
These are two evenly matched teams. However, I expect the Falcons to use their strong home-field advantage to fuel them to a victory.
They will find success on the ground and dictate the action to the Saints' defense and control the tempo of the game.
