Week 10 Waiver Wire: Looking at the Best Available Injury Replacements

Chris TrapassoNov 9, 2011

Having injury issues on your fantasy football team?

Yeah, me too.

No need to worry, these are the best injury replacements for this week. What's more, some of these guys should be able to contribute for the remainder of the season.

Laurent Robinson

Robinson has been a decent fantasy option in deeper leagues even before Miles Austin's second hamstring injury.

He's caught five passes and has had a touchdown in each of the Cowboys' last two games.

Now that Austin is sidelined for two to four weeks, Robinson instantly becomes Tony Romo's third option on offense.

He faces the Bills' weak secondary this Sunday, then he plays Washington and Miami in the following weeks.

Quite the matchups for the Robinson, who is a fantastic injury placement right now.

Chris Ogbonnaya

Ogbonnaya averaged 2.2 yards per carry last week against the Texans.

Don't worry. With Peyton Hillis reportedly out for at least another game, Ogbonnaya is a much better pickup this week.

The St. Louis Rams have the worst run defense in football, allowing 153.6 yards on the ground per game.

If there's ever a time that Cleveland's running game will get going without Hillis, this is the time. Ogbonnaya is their feature back due to all the injuries.

Vincent Brown

It looks like Malcom Floyd will miss another game for the Chargers, so Vincent Brown will have another opportunity.

He caught four passes for 79 yards against the Packers last week and seemed to be a more favorable target for Philip Rivers than Patrick Crayton.

Brown is more explosive than Crayton and the coaching staff has been raving about him since the beginning of the season.

There simply hasn't been room for the third-round pick out of San Diego State.

He's worth a shot this week against a Raiders' secondary that was exposed by Tim Tebow—of all people—last week.
