Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups: Torrey Smith and Emerging Point Producers
Baltimore Ravens rookie receiver Torrey Smith has been making big catches all season, and he continued to show he's an emerging wideout in the National Football League in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
At Heinz Field, Smith caught five balls for 71 yards, including the game-winning touchdown catch with eight seconds remaining.
Despite all of this, Smith is owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! Sports leagues.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It's time to give Smith the credit he deserves.
Here are three emerging point producers at quarterback, receiver and running back.
QB: Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos
I'm guessing Tebow isn't owned in many leagues because of his accuracy issues, but the fact of the matter is he's become a fantasy asset because of his rushing ability.
Despite passing for just 124 yards against the Oakland Raiders in Week 9, he still racked up the sixth-most points in all of fantasy football because he tossed two touchdowns and ran for 118 yards.
Tebow has eclipsed 20 fantasy points in two of his last four games and he faces the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10, a team that allowed Matt Moore of all people to pass for 244 yards and three touchdowns.
RB: Roy Helu, Washington Redskins
I liked Helu when he was with Nebraska.
Now the rookie is showing what he can do in the NFL.
Given his first start against a fearsome San Francisco 49ers defense in Week 9, Helu scored in double digits, rushing for 41 yards on 10 carries and racking up 105 receiving yards.
Ryan Torain appears to be on head coach Mike Shanahan's bad side, with two touches in Week 9, which means more carries for Helu.
Helu faces a tough rush defense against the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, but he can still hurt them through the air like he did against the 49ers.
WR: Torrey Smith, Baltimore Ravens
I've been touting Smith ever since his 152-yard, three-touchdown performance in Week 3 against the St. Louis Rams, but due to inconsistencies in the offense he's been up and down since then.
But make no mistake about it: Smith has talent.
Smith won the game for the Ravens in Week 9 against the Steelers with a sprawling 29-yard touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone. And this wasn't a one-time thing. He's made some spectacular catches this season.
Quarterback Joe Flacco got back on track in Week 9, and I expect Smith to start getting a lot of looks in the passing game.
Forget Lee Evans. Torrey Smith has been a viable No. 2 receiver opposite Anquan Boldin.
He faces the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10.
