Tyler Seguin Video: Watch Boston Bruins Forward Score First Career Hat Trick
Tyler Seguin scored his first career NHL hat trick on Saturday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Boston Bruins' 7-0 rout of the Northeast division leaders.
Seguin scored three fantastic goals on the night. His first was a laser beam one-timer from a Rich Peverley pass that beat Leafs goalie Ben Scrivens for a power-play goal.
The second was a wonderful use of his hands as he tipped a mid-air puck past Scrivens. The goal to complete the hat trick was a perfectly placed shot past Scrivens at the near post on a feed from Patrice Bergeron, who had three assists in the game.

Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
Seguin was drafted second overall by the Bruins in the 2010 NHL Draft, and they got that selection because they acquired it as part of the trade that sent winger Phil Kessel to Toronto prior to the 2009-10 season.
Kessel has played two games against the Bruins this season and has zero goals.
Seguin is a superstar in the making and a potential 40-goal per year player. He has amazing speed and a very accurate shot.
The young forward has earned more playing time this season as he's improved his defensive skills, which are important in head coach Claude Julien's system.
Credit Julien for allowing Seguin to be on the power play often and to be able to show his offensive talents.
Julien knows he has a special scorer, and even though Seguin's defensive abilities aren't perfect, there's no point in taking away ice time when he can score goals like he does.
Seguin's first career hat trick was spectacular, and there's probably many more to come in his NHL career.
