Week 9 Fantasy Football: Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday Night

Mick AkersNov 5, 2011

In a rematch of a Week 1 35-7 blowout, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens will lock horns again on Sunday night.

The outcome will be completely different this time.

I feel the Steelers will be ready to get revenge on their bitter AFC North rival, making the fantasy stars this time around a whole new crew.

Here is who fantasy owners should sit and start in the anticipated rematch on Sunday Night Football.

Start 'em:

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

During the Week 1 match up with Baltimore, Ben Roethlisberger threw for 280 yards and a touchdown but ruined his stat line with three ugly interceptions.

Look for Big Ben and a revitalized Steelers offense to spread out the ball more this time around and not have the big turnovers that plagued them the first time around.

Expect Roethlisberger to throw for around the same 280-yard mark, but reverse his touchdown-to-interception ratio and throw for three TDs and just one interception this time around.

Ray Rice, RB, Baltimore Ravens

Although the Steelers are solid against the run, Ravens running back Ray Rice will have a game just like he did in the Week 1 matchup.

The Steelers will shut down the Ravens pass offense, leaving Rice to pick up the pieces.

Look for Rice to rush for between 90-105 yards and score a touchdown as well.

Sit 'em

Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Joe Flacco threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 1 meeting against the Steelers, but since then, Pittsburgh has become stingy against the pass and is the No. 1 ranked pass defense team in the NFL.

Look for Flacco to struggle this week in Pittsburgh and throw for around 215 yards and zero touchdowns.
