NFL Week 9 Picks: How Will The NFC East Fare This Weekend?
After last Sunday night's game between the Cowboys and the Eagles, the NFC East went from a one-team race to a division that is now anybody's to win.
The New York Giants are currently two games up on the rest of the competition with a 5-2 record. The Eagles, Cowboys and Redskins are all in the hunt tied with 3-4 records.
After this weekend, that race will be even tighter.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here is a look at how the NFC East will look following Week 9's games.
4. Washington Redskins (3-5)
Just a few weeks ago the Washington Redskins were leading the division with a 3-1 record.
Then they ran into some problems against Philadelphia. Struggling to find an offensive identity, quarterback Rex Grossman was benched during the game.
John Beck has since been the starter under center. The team has now dropped three straight and it will extend to four straight after they play the San Francisco 49ers this weekend. The 49ers have been the surprise of the NFC with their performance thus far. That top tier defense should have few problems holding this Washington offense that has been crippled by injuries to Tim Hightower and left tackle Trent Williams.
3. Dallas Cowboys (4-4)
Although it's difficult after watching this Cowboys team get dismantled last week to continue pulling for this up-and-down team, don't hop off the bandwagon just yet.
Dallas is currently 3-4, but the teams they have lost to are no slouches.
The Cowboys have fallen to the Jets, Patriots, Lions and Eagles. Those are some very talented teams.
Last week was the first game that Dallas didn't even look competitive. That shouldn't be a trend.
The Cowboys have a very easy schedule in the coming weeks. It starts this week when they take on the Seattle Seahawks. Sunday's game should be an easy rebound opportunity for Tony Romo and the Cowboys.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (4-4)
It may have taken them awhile, but it finally looks like this Philadelphia Eagles team is starting to come together. The players are starting to gel and defensive coordinator Juan Castillo seems to be figuring out how to make the pieces fall into place when calling the games.
When clicking on all cylinders, this offense is nearly unstoppable. Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy present a rushing attack that leads the NFL. They dominated the top-ranked rushing defense last weekend.
The Eagles play the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football this week. This will be the true test for this Philadelphia team. We'll find out on Monday if they are going to be contenders this year.
1. New York Giants (5-3)
The New York Giants may be leading the division, but it appears that right now the Cowboys and Eagles are the two favorites in the division. The Giants are 5-2, but really only have one convincing victory. The rest came down to the wire and most of their victories were against poor teams.
The easy part of the schedule is in the rear view mirror. The Giants have some tough opponents in the upcoming weeks. That starts Sunday when they take on the New England Patriots.
This game is going to be a shootout. The Patriots passing defense is terrible, but the Giants haven't been much better. At the end of the day it's tough to go against Tom Brady. Especially with determination coming off a loss. The NFC East race will be one game closer after Sunday.
