Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Game Time and More
Before the season started, if you would have told people the second-best game of Week 10 would be between the Kansas State Wildcats and Oklahoma State Cowboys, you would have been laughed out of the building.
Kansas State has come out of nowhere this season. Head coach Bill Snyder is working his magic, again, and has this team believing in what he is selling. They did have a setback last week against Oklahoma but can right the ship against the third-ranked Cowboys.
Oklahoma State is still sitting in the No. 3 spot in the BCS, but a victory this week will almost surely move them up to No. 2. It also helps when the top two teams—LSU and Alabama—play each other. The Cowboys aren’t going away and have a real shot to play for the National Championship.

Key Storyline: Is Kansas State Really Good Enough To Play With the Best in the Big 12?
Kansas State was picked to finish eighth in the Big 12 by the coaches before the season started, so the fact that the team is ranked 14th with a 7-1 record is an achievement unto itself.
However, last week the Wildcats had a chance to prove how good they are against Oklahoma, and they got beat by 41 points at home. All those doubts came rolling back into everyone’s minds, but they have been given a chance to redeem themselves.
While I don’t think they are as good as their 7-1 record would seem to indicate, I don’t think they are as bad as they looked last week. They are somewhere in the middle, but they have to play at the highest possible level to compete in this game.
BCS/Top 25 Implications
There might not be more at stake in any game this week.
If Oklahoma State loses, its National Championship dreams go out the window. They will be at a disadvantage in the Big 12, and all that positive momentum they have built up through the first nine weeks of the season will be gone.
The Wildcats are in a must-win situation if they want to have a shot at the Big 12 title and/or a BCS berth. They are already behind Oklahoma thanks to their loss last week, and a loss to Oklahoma State will put them two games behind two teams with three games left to play.
What They Are Saying
Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder talked about Oklahoma State's offense at his weekly press conference and why it is so difficult to stop.
Oklahoma State Player To Watch: Joseph Randle, RB
It is easy to get caught up in the passing attack that the Cowboys feature, but Joseph Randle has been dominant for this team on the ground. He has run for 842 yards and 16 touchdowns so far this season, including a four-touchdown performance last week against Baylor.
The Cowboys have to be two-dimensional on offense if they want to get to the place they believe they can go. Randle has provided that spark on the ground that they have needed, and his presence has made life easier on Brandon Weeden.
Kansas State Player To Watch: Collin Klein, QB
Collin Klein is the do-everything player for the Kansas State offense. He has thrown for 992 yards, run for another 762 and has 24 total touchdowns.
The Wildcats are going to have to score points in this game if they want to win, and Klein is the engine that makes the whole thing go. He was held to just 150 yards last week and we all know how that turned out.
Klein has to have at least 400 yards of total offense and three touchdowns if the team is going to have a chance. He might have to throw the ball more than he likes, but in a game like this, you have to go away from your comfort zone to win.
Key Matchup: Collin Klein vs. Oklahoma State Secondary
Keeping with what was just said about Klein, the biggest matchup of the game will be what happens when he drops back to pass.
The Oklahoma State secondary has given up its share of points this season, though a lot of that can be attributed to the fact that the offense scores so many points and opposing teams have to throw the ball.
Klein needs to have the best passing game of his collegiate career in order to give his team a chance to win. He didn’t do it against Oklahoma. Can he do it against Oklahoma State? The outlook is not promising.
Prediction
Kansas State had a chance to prove itself last week and failed miserably. Things won’t get better against a fierce Oklahoma State offense.
