Samba Magicians in the Bundesliga: Part Two
This week, I am going to introduce another top five Brazilian talents in the Bundesliga.
I would like the readers (especially if they follow the Bundesliga) to vote for the one they think is the best of the five. The one with the most votes will compete with the winners of Part One and Three of "The Samba Magicians in the Bundesliga."
1. Carlos Eduardo

The diminutive and youthful midfielder plays for 1899 Hoffenheim. He has scored four goals in 15 games for Hoffenheim this season. Real Madrid wanted to sign him in 2005, but later decided not to considering the fact that he would need time to adapt to Spanish football.
2. Lucio
The defender is another one of Bayern’s recruits from Leverkusen. He leads the Brazilian National Team under coach Dunga. Lucio was also a part of the Brazil squad that lifted the World Cup in 2002. He has 15 appearances under his belt this season.
3. Kaka
He is a year older than the famous Kaka of AC Milan. He plays for Hertha BSC Berlin as a defender. He has nine appearances under his belt this season. In 2007, Kaka decided to leave his native Brazil to join Hertha.
4. Diego
Diego has been linked to numerous clubs but somehow he is still plying his trade with Werder Bremen. He is inconsistent at times, but there is hardly any doubt as to the fact that he is a quality midfielder. The 23-year-old has eight goals in 12 appearances this season but will miss the next four matches for fighting in Werder’s previous game against Karslruhe.
5. Thiago Neves
The attacking midfielder plays for Hamburg. The 23-year-old has made five appearances for Hamburg this season. He was part of the Brazilian team that won the bronze medal at the Olympics.
It’s hard to choose from this list. I am not going to choose anyone. Part Three will be out next week.
