NFL Predictions Week 8: Which WRs Will Have Monster Fantasy Games?
Three teams have matchups so ideal this week for their star wide receivers, it's hard to imagine any of them having poor outings for your fantasy team should you be lucky enough to have one of them on your roster.
Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson has a beyond-impressive 41 catches for 679 yards and 10 touchdowns through seven games. He's averaging 97 yards per game and has only a single game without a score.
This week, the Lions are traveling to Denver to take on the Broncos after dropping two straight games at home. This is a perfect chance not just for the Lions to redeem themselves, but also for Johnson to have yet another impressive outing in the thin mile-high air, regardless of the quarterback throwing him passes.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is suffering from an ankle sprain that might see him miss this Sunday's contest.
But even with Shaun Hill under center on Sunday, it's still going to be a big day for Megatron. He's not just immune to coverage—he's immune to quarterback changes as well.
Despite suffering what looked like a painful knee injury in his team's Week 7 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger won't be sitting out this week's home game against the New England Patriots.
This is great news for his primary receiver, Mike Wallace, who leads the league with 20.3 yards per reception and who may just be the NFL's best wideout.
Passing will be the order of the day in this game, with the Steelers likely needing to keep pace with the Patriots' Tom Brady and his aerial attack, and with New England having an extremely porous secondary.
Regardless of the opponent, Wallace has still managed no fewer than 76 yards per game, and he's had just two games without a score.
Considering the very nature of this matchup, it's clear that Wallace is going to meet or exceed his per-game average of 104.3 yards and score one, if not two touchdowns on Sunday.
The Cincinnati Bengals meet the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday, without their starting running back Cedric Benson.
However, even if he was available, it's likely that the team would still rely on their passing game, led by rookie quarterback Andy Dalton and anchored by fellow rookie, wide receiver A.J. Green.
The Seahawks are far more successful defending the run than the pass, which bodes well for Green's chances to really boost your fantasy team this week. Green has 29 catches for 453 yards and has scored a touchdown in four of his six games.
He's helped to elevate the Bengals from a team seemingly destined to struggle into a quietly competent contender for the AFC North championship, and he's turned from a risky rookie fantasy addition into a useful every-week start.
Green is averaging 75.5 yards per game, with his best outing coming in Week 2 at the Denver Broncos, where he caught 10 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.
Look for him to have a similar outing this week against the poor Seahawks secondary. He's a certain fantasy must-start for your team if you have the good fortune to own him.
