NFL Week 6 Predictions: St. Louis Rams Will Be No Walk in the Park for Packers
Aaron Rodgers and the undefeated Green Bay Packers meet with the 0-4 St. Louis Rams in a Week 6 matchup that is predicted by many to be the most lopsided game this week.
However, what many forget is that the Rams are not the same Rams team that has struggled to do much of anything through the first five weeks of the season.
For one, the Rams have gotten the chance to recuperate with a bye week and are now easily the healthiest they have been. The headline name coming back for St. Louis is running back Steven Jackson, who is expected to contribute and make his presence felt immediately.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In his inconsistent, injury-damaged season so far, Jackson has recorded just 124 yards and a touchdown in his three outings and is yet to play since the team's 17-10 loss to the Washington Redskins.
The other thing the Rams have going for them versus the Packers is the simple fact that the defending Super Bowl champs have a world of trouble stopping the pass. This is where quarterback Sam Bradford comes into the picture.
Bradford poses quite the threat with his big arm and evident overall improvements this season. On the year, Bradford has thrown for 843 yards and three touchdowns.
Again, if there's one area in particular where the Packers seem to struggle, it's their pass defense inefficiencies. Their secondary has underachieved in the team's first five games and has plenty to improve upon going forward.
The biggest thing that hurt these Rams all season is a lack of offensive production—something Bradford and company hopes to improve upon with a healthy Jackson back in the lineup. The problem had been that, without Jackson to worry about in the backfield, it allowed defenses to simply focus on the Rams passing game."
Although not as significant a factor, the Packers may well face the pressure of crushing and overwhelming a team arguably in the bottom five of the league. It sounds a rather cliche, ill-supported argument, but the fact of the matter is any team that is a double-digit favorite will feel the inevitable pressure.
That is not to mention, a Packers loss will bring them down to No. 2 in the NFC North, with the Detroit Lions currently keeping pace with the Pack at 5-0 as well.
This is not to say the Rams should win this game, or will even make this a down-to-the-wire ball game, but the bottom line is that St. Louis is not a team to be taken lightly, as they have the utmost confidence in their system and will have a healthy team going into the matchup.
