Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Pierre Garcon and Must-Sit Wide Receivers

Patrick ClarkeOct 14, 2011

As Week 6 of the NFL season approaches, several wide receivers have distanced themselves from the pack and begun to explode onto the fantasy scene.

Most will either have favorable matchups this weekend or are just too talented to sit.

Here are three wide receivers with bad matchups that you should look to avoid playing in Week 6:

Pierre Garcon

Garcon and the 0-5 Indianapolis Colts are in Cincinnati this week to take on the NFL's third-best pass defense.

Curtis Painter has played admirably since taking over for the injured Kerry Collins, throwing four touchdowns and zero interceptions, all of his touchdowns going to Garcon, but will struggle on the road.

Garcon has 19 receptions and 420 yards receiving thus far, but Sunday's matchup could be his worst of the season.

As the winless Miami Dolphins return from their bye week without Chad Henne, expect wideout Brandon Marshall to struggle with the offense.

Marshall has just one touchdown in 2011, and his longest catch has been just 31 yards so far.

Chad Ochocinco

Ochocinco has been down this year in his first season with Tom Brady and Pats, catching just nine balls for 136 yards and zero touchdowns.

No. 85 hasn't caught more than two passes in a game this season, and with more of the offense geared towards the talented tight ends, look for Ochocinco to become a non-factor Sunday against the Cowboys' seventh-ranked pass defense.
